So apparently the steelers are trying out long snappers ,, due to kuntz injury.

QUestion.. IF Logan Lee can snap like he did the other night,,, why not use him ,, in that capacity. ?

Chances are he isnt going to make the 53 as DL man.

I don’t think they plan on keeping Lee on the roster. So his long snapping would have to on Kuntz level or close to it. I take it…it isn’t.

When was the last time you saw Kunitz make a mistake in long snapping…………… it’s because he only has one thing to focus on.

There is a reason why most long-snappers are one dimensional only.

Logan Lee is pretty much a lock to make the roster. I'm told Kuntz' injury is not serious and he should be fine by week 1.

The problem is they need someone to snap at practice. Logan Lee has DL responsibilities so he can't be being pulled out of drills to go hang with the kickers. He also had a bad snap on the missed FG. Sauls kicked the laces cause of the snap.
 
Id say Logan Lee makes the roster if he is close at DL. Having soneone that can snap reasonably if your long snapper gets hurt.......huge. That said there are 31 long snappers and probably another 10 that are in camps who are better then him. So cutting Kuntz is a joke. If he can make the squad good value added

Not attacking, but where did anyone suggest cutting Kuntz? I'm genuinely confused...
 
Kaboly (I know, I know, take it for what it’s worth) is reporting Kuntz out weeks to months. This is a bigger deal than most people give it credit for. Big deal for Punter and The Boz.
 
How many LS out of college ever make it to the NFL? Not trying to diminish the situation with Kuntz, but there has to be options out there.
 
If logan Lee makes the squad it will be because of his ST play that isnt long snapping.... nice to have a backup though...

Also I missed this tgread when I started mine with the much better title 🤣

It can get merged if a mod is out there

Lee's still around but he can't be the only plan. It also depends on the length of injury to Kuntz. The worse it is, the more important it is to have a real long snapper. Who wants to lose a tight game because of one bad snap by your backup, backup, backup DL.
