Kelly Holcomb "It got to the point where I knew what plays he was going to call before he called them,"...too bad so did the rest of the NFL.
One thing can be said about "the Bruce"...his cockyness gets QBs killed. It's ironic that every Qb he ever coached has experienced the highest (or second highest in Peyton's case of sacks) and INTs in their careers with Bruce as their coach.
Peyton Manning: Int% 1998 - 4.9% (highest in his career), sack% 3.7% (second highest in his career) - Rookie year. To be expected.
Tim Couch: sacked 51 times in 2001 (most in career) threw 17 TDs and 21 Ints (most in career) ) - You're holding "TIM COUCH" against him? Btw, Couch was sacked 56 times in '99. But that was his Rookie year.
Ben :2006 threw 18 TDs, 26 Ints (most in his career) sacked an average of over 40x from '06-'11 w highest in his career in 2009 w 50 sacks. - Uh, about that. Whisenhunt was the Coordinator in '06
Andrew Luck: Highest Int% in 2012 w 18 Ints. Sacked 41x - Again, Rookie year. To be expected. But, he also guided them to the playoffs.
Carson Palmer: 2013, most Ints 18 and most sacks 41 in his career - I got nothing except the fact that it's not like Palmer hasn't habitually been around the 18-20 Int/year mark his entire career.
