The Steelers haven't won at New England since 2008, when they beat the Patriots with Matt Cassell, not Brady, at quarterback.
Their most recent win there prior to that came in 1997. Then, you have to go all the way back to the regular season opener in 1979 to find another.

As I said in another thread. Been going on a lot longer than since 2007.

Another thing I saw last night that bothered me

Ben’s mobility is in serious decline. While he still has pocket mobility and can run for yardage with an open field in front of him he’s clearly lost a step or two. I guess that is to be expected with his age.

Did he have some sort of minor injury?

When have we required BB to be a running QB? His game is the pocket. I don’t wanna see him run. What I would like to see if the ******* coaching staff realize he is a big ******* dude and we can pick up one ******* yard with a qb sneak

I wanna see more TE use, less 10fucking wide when no one can catch. Hey we still got a FB use him. Play action anyone

Many of his big plays can from being outside the pocket on the run. That was a key part of his game. Now I fear his ability to buy second chances is in serious decline.

That takes something off our deep passing game.

You just ******* said he still has pocket mobility and can run for some yards. So wtf you talking about

"thinking" and this coaching staff should not be used in the same sentence. Please don't tell me they were thinking too much. Strange the article doesn't mention the lead "thinker" Tomlin. Blames the OC and a bunch of players but not the guy in charge of them or the other coaches.

But Tomless gets an extension and that is what’s most troubling. It’s not being recognized at the top.

Ryan Switzer adds nothing to this team. He is not an explosive returner and he is useless on offense beyond 2 yards past the LOS. He should not even be on the roster and it’s shameful that he is

We had a 2nd and 3. Next play, we went empty backfield. Where the heck is situational football smarts? That was the stupidest thing I saw. The Pats knew it was a pass and did not even have to consider a run! What about a play action pass if you wanted to pass it on that down - it would keep the D honest, but no, let's take that out of the equation and make it simple for the Pats D to defend us. Sometime they just need to keep it simple. Also, sick of seeing 3rd and 4 to go and a deep bomb down the field which has maybe a 25% completion success rate - just go for the damn 1st down - keep it simple ya freakin' idiots!
