Harbaugh isn’t a good coach... he is more in the cowher mold though... he would have probably been let go had he missed the playoffs again last year. Id argue he is clearly a top ten coach in the nfl and he blows in a lot of areas.... head coaching is just utterly crap these days... the game changed so dramatically and few if any are actually strategists or have the vision to react to the changes... they just recycle plays, schemes and strategies from wherever they learned the game...

I stopped watching the Pirates when they traded Bonilla and Bonds. Up until a few years ago, they were nothing but a farm program for the rest of the league...it looks like they're back to being a farm program. ********!

The Steelers typically do not travel injured players. The “local” media in the ‘Burgh know this, just goes to show you how much they reall do not have to say.
I don’t pay attention to any sports “reporter” unless they played the game. At least they know WTF they’re talking about.

I don’t see a reason to hate on Dupree.
Then again I’ve had the opportunity to meet multiple NFL players over the years and realized they are people— so long as he’s not a jackass off the field and does all he can, I cannot hate on a player for not being ‘95 Lloyd or ‘08 Harrison.
Though we’ve had more production from OLBs, we don’t have anyone who could outright replace him now, and when he leaves in FA & we sign a Donte Moncrief level talent to replace him.... the difference will be seen

The two LBs you just mentioned Lloyd and Harrison were one 6th rounder and 1 undrafted player. So because they can't replace him right now that automatically means they can't replace him next year? All their FAs are like Moncrief? So they couldn't get a FA like Hayden? Why Moncrief? We didn't have people to replace many others and we replaced them anyway. Paying a guy $9 million to get sacks against scrub LTs while being singled up isn't a good idea. Watt is twice the LB Dupree is right now. He's doubled and chipped on almost every passing play. Dupree is always singed up and has played against rookies and scrubs all year.
So out of curiosity what free agent would you replace him with next year? I have a feeling in the off-season Steelers will sign him to a LBer friendly contract.
