A few years ago Rush Limbaugh made some statement about football being like a battle between the Bloods and the Crips. He got ripped for it.

That is what last night looked like. It was disgusting. I'm an old, outdated guy I know. But the Steeler-Raider rivalry in the 70s was hotly contested, and you didn't have that ****. And the Steelers aren't innocent. Shazier was doing some stupid ****** dance around mid-field after the hit on Bernard. I don't know, man. You can be intense and nt do all the crap you saw last night.

Part of me thinks both teams should be sent home.

**** Limbaugh, he is never right.

Maybe. But about this he was.

Hey, it was a good, solid hard hitting game, and I think Shazier's hit was OK, too. But after that it just devolved. And it looked like what you would expect if a pickup game between the Bloods and the Crips broke out, with the possible exception of gunfire.

It shouldn't be this way.

I think your memory is failing you. Half of the guys on the field last night wouldn't survive a Steeler - Oakland game from the 70s.

**** that.....give Cincy and their fans a lil bit of what was given to us.............they can dish **** but cant take it ? **** them...and **** Jeremy Hill and his antics of tryin to exact revenge against the Steeler team during the Bernard injury.

Cincy talked all that **** about being physical......yeah, they were physical but they loss where it mattered. Now let em sit the **** home and ponder "what ifs". We should've danced on their ****** "B" logo...........for "*******".

Some stupid dance? He was saying it was a fumble and should be a touchdown. Then when the ref made the call after review, he couldn't hear the call and was pointing in the Steelers direction like "it's our ball right?"

There was no stupid dance...now William Gay had a stupid dance, still not sure how they can assess that penalty...

Karma smiled on the football field last night. There's a reason why things turned out the way they did. It rightfully decided which side did not deserve to walk off as winners and whose fans did not deserve to celebrate a win. I've never seen such a clear intervention of karma in my life.

I say the NFL should allow some type of fighting like hockey. Emotions run high already. Let a few players exchange pleasantries, get the emotions out of the way. Back to the game

No it isn't. And if it is, I have the 74 and 75 AFCC games on DVD.

I am talking about all the extra curricular crap. 4th quarter, 74 AFCC. Jack Ham picks the ball off, runs it back to the 7. 10-10 game. Gets up, hands the ball to the ref, and runs off the field. No stupid dance. None of the others players on the defense have to run around like idiots. This is in the AFCC game for a team that hadn't won anything in 43 years!

Look at the idiot Burfict. Wonder if he would have just ran off the field and focused on the fact that he may be out there again if he would not have done what he did. Instead, he had to act the *** like he just won the SB. I don't recall Malcom Butler acting that way and he won the damn thing last year.

All that being said, it really isn't some nostalgia for the past I have. I think all that **** does nothing more than make you lose focus on what the hell you are supposed to be doing. Believe me, I am quite happy the Bengals came unglued. I just wish the Steelers would stay out of it if, again, nothing more than to stay focused. They are going to need it coming up.

What the **** does Rush Limbaugh know about football. He looks like a dough boy.

Well, if you don't listen to Rush, you wouldn't really know... now would you Sask ?

Rush actually has a long history with the NFL, was for a time part of an investment group trying to purchase the Rams, was a part of the ESPN pregame show briefly ( until the McNabb comment ) and is an avid Steelers fan.

A comment could also be made....."What the **** does SteelerSask know about football ?" He looks like a ( type insult here )

Rush L. says so many things, he is bound to be right about something. A fat howard stern "shock Jock". Rush is no more knowledgable than many here, who can read up on the subject. He does this for a living, imagine many here having the time, as he does. Kind of a stretch of the crips and bloods anology, but what the hey. Rush is a steeler fan, but his devotion is only what it is. MANY here exceed his level of fanhood and that is all good. NOW if you were talking snoop lion, then all **** would break loose.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What SteelerSask knows about football is that he has played refed and coached since he was 14 years old without break and I'm 45 now. I'm sorry a comment about Rush's man **** offends your right wing sensibilities. What I can assure you is that a douchebag like him has never been in a fair fight in his life. It is written all over his smug douchebag face.

****, I shoulda known better. I honestly didn't think of the political stuff. I just remembered he said football is looking like the Bloods vs. The Crips and he caught all kinds of crap for it.

I know I thought about that late in game. That is what it looked like.

Shazier should have had a TD, he wasn't celebrating an injured player.

Keep the political **** out of this football chat.
