That debt clock not only covers debt. It shows the number of Americans in the workforce and not in the work force now and in 2000.

The number of Americans in the workforce has dropped by 1% since 2000, whilst the number not in the work force has increase by 25%. Or another way of looking at it there were about 2 hosts for every parasite, now it's about 1.55 hosts for every parasite. If that trend keeps going your scenario 3 is going to be looking more and more likely,

I don't consider those of my generation that worked for 50+ years then retired, parasites, but do agree the number of families producing children for the next generation are decreasing.

They've done nothing to address debt. Nothing. We will have to start producing a whole lot more to even make a dent in it,with massive government cuts added.

That's like pulling teeth from a grizzly bear.
The democrats on the other hand will tax the holy hell out of everything and everyone, to get the money,but they'll never pay off the debt,they'll just spend it and create even more debt.


We're pretty much screwed.
