By G.Stryker: It’s official.* The 4pm deadline came and went without Le’Veon Bell signing his tender, and by rule, he is ineligible to play the rest of the season. The writing was on the wall.* As of yesterday, all of the Steeler logos and pictures of him in uniform, were removed from his profile pictures […]

Jalen Ramsey has expressed that he wants out of Jagtown...what an awesome set of corners to have. Haden and Ramsey

That is another nice Ozzy dream.

Bell left 14 million guaranteed , would be nice to use this and get a corner that could make this defense better.

Capwise we are looking great next year. Bell and shazier contracts gone...
I am sure we will resign one or 2 of our guys but we will have the opportunity to definitly sign an impact defense player

I am sure they could find a Burns upgrade. ILBer might be a harder find.

WR doesn't seem to be too attractive from what I saw either.

Fantastic news. Don't the let the door hit you in the ***, ya greedy bum. Buh bye.

Steelers won the nobel l peace prize! One twitter twatwaffle gone!

well I'm sure the LEGAL team is prepping for next year's TAG option. I'm glad to be rid of the distraction he has brought and the drama upon himself. AS OF NOW...... We are riding with whom we have and NO looking back.

Who Ride..............

WE RIDE...!!!!!!!

Goodbye *****. Now I just hope the FO plays this to get everything we can get for him.

How sweet would it be to win it all this year while he watches from Miami... then even sweeter if he never sniffs the game the rest of his career.

Wonder what strip club he'll watch the game from?

Cap space paradise and hopefully a 3rd round compensatory pick. I wish him the best in getting his blockbuster contract. Peace out. No harm. We've got a guy for what he was doing.

Too bad they did not let him walk last year, we would be sitting on a pile of cap space AND an extra 3rd in 2019. Now they will have to wait till 2020 for a compensatory pick, after the cap space is already used up. The Steelers are only going to get part of the help needed next year because of their “Brain Trust” **** up.

Please. If they had let him walk and Conner wound up being a bust, the FO would be getting torched for screwing up on that move all the same. They made all the right moves in good faith. They used the tag and made contract offers in line with the allocated space. They played the hand they were dealt and didn't knee jerk react. They have cap space now. They have the RB of the present and the future right now. Its all gravy at this point. It's almost as if they planned according to their available options based on all the possible outcomes.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Like dan said, they approached LB with good faith and expected him to sign the tag. It's quite amazing it is working out w/o him in the plans and Conner is exceeding expectations, at a fraction of LB's salary. There are many things they should have, could have and didn't do, but like they seem to always do, they push on. With the cap space for 2019, the tide actually will be in their favor to have an excess. Something it seems they never have to work with. Underneath the dark clouds of the situation, there will be sunshine in the end.
