LeVeon Bells 81yd run......

There is no doubt we have an excellent 1-2 combo. However for bells style to be effective the online has to set is blocks. Without the oline playing well, bells 's patience would turn into defenders in the back field and losses. Last night's game was great, but I still am skeptical that the oline magically transformed into some kinda run blocking machine. The jumbo package was amazing I am not sure where that came from? I do not understand how they can go from getting destroyed in the first part of the game to totally dominant. I am cautiously optimistic that they can keep it up.

When Bell got busted for smoking and possession, many here wanted his head on a platter........ Amazing how short sighted some are. He is a very good running back with catching abilities. We needed a boost, he provided one. Thanks for that. Reason why I can't criticize the front office / draft picks. Obviously, they do know some things we don't, or should I say some things some of us don't. Great job Mr. Bell !!!

Salute the nation

Also like Blunt. Glad he's on board. ****** runs hard.

SDS beat me to the comment ... Bell is a very impressive running back - sees the hole, patient, gets positive yardage every run, falls forward at the end of runs, catches the ball, blocks pretty well in pass protection.

But man, is it nice when Bell needs a breather or the Steelers need 1 yard, to bring in LeGarrette Blount. Defenders go backwards on contact. Oh, and he is pretty decent at spotting a hole as well.

Bell is a new running back this year. He completely transformed himself this offseason and is on the verge of being one of the elite backs in the entire league. I saw a number of experts using Bell and McCoy in the same sentence.

Bell's been making solid runs when the O'line has broken down too.

Elite quickness to the hole...as soon as he sees it opening. Balance and vision. Collinsworth compared him to Marcus Allen...not a bad comparison.

Call me a Homer, and although we are only 3 games in, I wouldn't trade Bell for any other back in the league. He isn't the fastest or the most powerful but his awareness, instinct, and vision is unbelievable. His cutbacks are slick and he never looks off balance, excellent body control. I haven't enjoyed watching the Steelers run game since Willie Parker, but Bell has future superstar written all over him. As a fan I feel so lucky to have a guy like this in the backfield! Say what you want about Mike Tomlin and his drafting ability, Bell was a homerun.

Starting to feel this way too. Not sure I can name a back I'd rather have. Maybe McCoy.

I remember Marcus being so smooth, a glider. Bell is a bit more choppy. The guy he's starting to remind me of is Ricky Watters.

I know it's only three games in, but I can't remember the last time our primary back had yards per carry this high. I think he's gonna be a superstar

Agreed...Allen was like Dickerson...just smooth as can be.

I think he was referring to Bell's vision in the hole. That's why they use to say Allen was the best goalline/short yardage RB.
