Le'Veon Bell wants to play

We could use another back that has the ability to go half speed, stutter step and patiently wait for a hole to develop.
Najee’s skills seem to be diminishing in that area.

We only want the stars back.....Archer barely misses that mark. Barely I say.....

Just the thickness of a blade of grass is the difference……

Bell definitely has expressed regret for how things ended with the Steelers and probably wants one more chance. The last time I watched him play he looked washed up, however, he's still only 31 years old. Credit to him if he can put in the work and give his NFL career one last run, it'll just be an uphill battle to even get a look.

That amount of “HARD” work will need to begin before March—————- just saying. He has “out of football” time to make up and that takes longer with age.

If he is serious, as the STEELERS, I’d bring him into the facility middle / end APRIL and give him a personal work out (if CBA allows or the soonest it’s allowed). That workout would tell the story and NOT make it a distraction at training camp.

ONLY, and I repeat ONLY, sign if he is willing to take an incentive laced, lower dollar cap friendly contract. We can Hire a 6th or above including a walk on RB to give us what Bell will give us. I wouldn’t want to miss out on a Jaylan Warren or a Willie Parker just to sign an aged out, with a lot of wear RB.

You won't find a bigger Bell fan than me, guy was the best RB in the league by a wide margin, he put up historic stats in the black and gold but that was 7 years ago.
That said, he was never a speed guy and James Conner just had the best season of his career at 28, rushing for 1000+ in 13 games @ 5ypc.

Does he want to come back for one day to retire as a Steeler? Then maybe. Or maybe not...............

Assuming this isn't attention where b.s. and he wants to play for the Steelers like it sounds. I wonder where he thinks he stands. Like I don't think Jaylen Warren gets enough touches as it is. I suppose one is due to get injured.

Don't know how true it is but I saw a post where the Steelers are actually talking to Bell and may bring him in for a workout. I can't believe they would even entertain it but if he plays for the vet minimum and is OK being the No. 3 RB, then maybe. I just can't see this happening but who knows?
