Bell and Brown have yet to prove themselves with their new teams. Not to wish ill to both of these chooches but they could very well be the 2019 season punchline of some joke material.
 
Why would anyone suggest the Steelers ****** up with Bell? Two years in a row, the Steelers offered Bell great contracts and he said **** you. The Jets aren't giving him any more than we offered. He wanted 15+ million per season and reality was he got about what we already offered him. He is the loser in this. He lost $14.5 million that he will never recover.
 
He got fair market value. If he would have signed long term 2 yrs ago. He just might have gotten another big payday. To bad he over valued himself like he did. In hind sight the Steelers should have placed the non exclusive franchise tag on Bell and let him gauge his value on the market. Maybe things would have all played out differently.
 
it wouldn’t surprise me if Bell is confusing the source of the money with the amount of money and thinks that since it’s another team paying him, it’s additional money. Whereas a contract with the Steelers would have been the same money because it wasn’t another source.

Plus the steelers offer was for 7 years and if Bell had a brain he'd know Rooney rarely cuts players on big contracts. He will be 33 when his 4 year deal with the Jets expires and get peanuts for the rest of his career. What a dumbass. He got 33 million of his precious guaranteed money from the ****** Jets, he walked away from 14 million of guaranteed money last season on the tag...

No, Steelers offer was 70 million for Five years and 33 million the first two years.
Bell gambled and lost, as simple as that. One can never make up turning their back on 14.5 million.

Coryea is correct! Bell’s agent actually told the team **** for brains would except their offer but Bell refused it. Oh well!
