LeVeon Bell......Signs with J-E-T-S JETS! JETS!! JETS!!!.....BREAKING NEWS!!!

13.5 mill. what did we offer him last year?

I think that's less than what the steelers offered. And now he's a year older and has to play for the Jets in NY where he will be compared to Saquon.

Deal is reported 4 years at 52.5 million (or 13.125 per year)…. can't recall what he'd have played at under franchise tag in '18? Was it even close to that? What was deal Steelers offered prior to '18 season? Was it close to that?

What's the over/under on seasons played before he pulls an "bABy" and threatens, "I don't need football... my rap career will flourish here in NYC!!!"???? (Well, Rutherford NJ!)

…is it lower over/under than games played before bABy flips a Gatorade tub, after a Cooperesque 2 rec for 36 yard performance off the arm of David, I mean Derrick Carr????

Franchise tag last year was $14.5 million. That's down the toilet.

He'll never make up that $13-14mil he left on the table last season. A very expensive mistake, he should sue his agent.

That said, I hope he has a great year and helps the Jets sweep the patriots.

I would have been fine with the steelers paying him that

AB and Bell didn't think the steelers treated them fair. Just wait until they get their tax bills from Cali and NY, and the law changed where you can no longer write off state tax from your federal. Unfortunately you can't "hold out" from paying your taxes. Just ask Wesley Snipes

I believe we offered him 3 years at like 45 million...WTF?

AB & Bell go to perenial losers.....LOL

His agent Bakari says the NFL players are akin to slaves and that the NFL owners are like plantation owners so when Bell (who is as obviously as dumb as Brown ) chooses an agent like Bakari he ends up getting g what he deserves......a racist thug agent who is poor at what he does. I knew this would cost him. His ego got in the way of basic common sense and math. I would talk to non Steeler fans about how Bell was never ever going to make up last year's money and you'd be surprised how many football fans thought he would and thought the Steelers were screwing him. It's a shame we lost him to ignorance, ego, and lack of intellect (and thats both on Bell and Bakari). ******* tools.....they deserve each other.

If this is the same agent he's had, his agent told him to take the contract the Steelers offered prior to 2016, Bell nixed that

Something tells me Bell is either A) hurting for money or B) hurt and just wants to get paid.

Either way, not the Steelers problem anymore

Bakari gives a copy of Forty Million Dollar Slaves to every rookie who signs with his agency. A classic by Undefeated writer-at-large William C. Rhoden, the book argues that despite their high salaries, black athletes remain trapped on figurative plantations controlled by whites, with little influence or power in the multibillion-dollar industries built on black labor. The book urges athletes to retain “a sense of responsibility to the legacy of struggle that made possible this generation’s phenomenal material success.”

Yeah? Well I had a 6" cold cut combo from subway because its the only place to get something to eat where I live. All the slave labor built those restaurants someplace else.

LOL, where are all of the people here bitching that the Steelers ****** up the Bell situation????

I didn’t think Bell was worth what the Steelers offered him. He was never that good.

Screw him. I’m glad he’s on the Jets. I can’t wait to troll his upcoming season as his best days were gone and he was inflated by the Steelers OL, Ben and the weapons around him that gave him extra room to run.

Have fun with being on a bad team and those New York taxes Me’von
