They dont care about that. In before someone says they chose to play football..go do something else ...

And the NFL is still denying ex players money in the settlement between the NFL and former players.

What are they upset about?

Selfish athletes who don't think 14 million a year is enough, some of whom have been in trouble with the law, others disrespect the anthem. Still, others say dumb things on social media.

The price of tickets is very high, and if you want the NFL Sunday ticket, that's not cheap either. I probably spend about $600 on football related stuff....Sunday ticket, food, drinks, merchandise, and such a year.

Frankly, fans would be better off if ratings declined 50%, as their cost for tickets or TV would likely go down, and we'd see less absurdity when it comes to who's making what.

While Football fans root for the team over players, it's getting to the point where some of them are not happy with these selfish and badly informed athletes, whose values seem at odds at times with mainstream America.

While I do believe the majority of the players are good guys, the NFL has too many of them who are not.

And that would be the players. The NFL union needs to backload 10% of everyone's salary to be paid out in an annuity-like benefit later in life and come up with a post-NFL insurance system for the badly injured.

Young men spend their money quickly. 70% of NFL players have little or no net worth 5 years out of the game.

They know they would never get the demand an thus the player is selfish / greedy / etc. It's not a perfect world and fans feel an entitlement to live their lives through the player, after all they are paying for the entertainment. Just dying a different rational here...............

Hey if he wants all that money because he says he's the best back and 2nd best receiver on the team give him a 10 million guaranteed contract. I am the average fan. And what these guys do off the field doesnt affect me. So i dont care. Either he is going to get what he wants or he isnt. Only people affected is him and his family. The Steelers will replace him and move on. He will hopefully get his which i think he deserves and move on. The market for RBs is going up he is just at the front of it. 2 to 3 years from now RBs who dont come off the field will all be getting what he was seeking or pretty much close to it.

I do not agree with this at all. is way more valuable especially in when the pressure is on. He has made several amazing plays in very crucial situations. Bell has made one clutch catch that I can recall. I personally think the steelers are insane for even offering him 14-15 mill. He can easily be replaced with 1-2 other good backs.

Far as crimes go, distractions hurt our chances for team unity.So if a player is a off the field distraction, chances are it turns into a on the field distraction. One way or another.

Fans control the flow of the game from spending their money one way or another.

As far as what you would care (or should care) about anything that alters the season outcome, players beating women, Bell driving under the influence. Anyone who does a crime that effects someone in a harmful way.
