And just like that, Bell's the second leading rusher in the league... 1,200+ rushing, 600+ receiving in 12 games to go along with 7 rush TD and 2 receiving TD's. Dude is absolutely worth every penny we will pay him.

Brown, oh he's just casually leading the league in receptions again (in a down year lol remember that narrative?). Fourth straight 100 catch season tying Marvin Harrison, fourth in the league in yards, second in TD's. And his stretch across the goalline last night reminded me of a similar play with Ward. Hit hard at the one but would not be denied and found a way to get it into the EZ.

I don't think you can deny that they are the top players at their positions.

Brown is my favorite Steelers all time but I'd put Julio ahead oh him slightly. Bell is better than Elliot ......that's an easy one

It's already been stated a few times, but I'll just jump in anyway...Julio is a great talent no doubt, but he cannot stay healthy at all. He tries to play through a lot of his injuries and just becomes completely worthless, even as a decoy. I'll take Brown over Julio because Brown can do it all, he can go short, catch a screen, slant, mid range, go long, make people miss in the open field, great hands, amazing work ethic.

James Harrison is my favorite Steeler.

But I digress...

Aren't we like 30 mil under the cap for next year? We should be able to lock them both up if we let go of Timmons.

Timmons can be resigned for a cap friendly deal if they wish. He has played well enough to at least be worthy of a one or two year deal...

That assumes no one will bid against us. Which I doubt. Someone is likely to offer him some real money after the solid tape he's put out this season. I think he's gone.

It isn't always about money for players. Not saying Timmons won't with someone else but I can easily see him resigning with us if we offer him a new contract.

My fave Steeler is Bell. I'm usually a defensive player guy. But Bell has been special despite his suspension(s). He puts in work, and I feel as he gets older he'll mature

didn't Timmons already say he would take less to remain a Steeler?
