Definately bring him in and kick the tires. He will have trouble with coverage but a DEFINATE upgrade for back-up player. What ever his vet minimum is I'd add just a little insentive to it. He is a professional but we would need to see what's left in the tank. All systems GO and yes give him a shot !!!!!

They need to add depth to the position and at the very least you'd think Timmons could be a stopgap until a young linebacker is ready. He probably should have taken the Steelers offer last year.

Sign Zach Brown instead.

For a second I though you were saying Zack Thomas............. I think he is available as the Dolphins released him too!!!!!!!!!!!

if he's gonna take Moats spot then i'm all in.

As a backup to make sure Spence isn't seen again, sure.

I don't know what the cost will be, but this is about it. They need someone better than Spence as a temporary starter/backup. I also don't see them signing any of the top available options.

For the vet minimum.

I don't get it.

Why would we want to bring him back when the position he played is covered. It's Shazier's Mack position that needs help. not the Buck that Timmons played.

No, he was getting heavy and slow his last year here. That ship has sailed. I'd sooner have Jack Ham return and he's about 65 years old.

Yes, for the vet minimum and if he is in good shape. He has to be better than Spence and the other scrubs we tried this year.

No way, he couldn't cover anymore when he was here. This is a passing league, we need some beef on the Dline to rotate and speed at ILB

he sure could tackle better than spence (with about the same speed probably) and dirty red. I'd like him as the 4th ILB, a backup to Vince or even the 2nd ILB in short yardage situation
