Sorry SteelerFan48. He did check with the ref, but didn’t ‘t take that step up. I watched that replay multiple times. If anything he may have scooted his foot maybe 6” up but it pretty obvious he is more than a yard off the line. He was lined up as if he was a slot receiver in the WR position.

Lame as it may seem to be, he was way off the line. You’d think these guys would be able to align themselves, hell my eye is pretty good and I could hire on as a “line sight guide” for most teams.
