Ok, I watched zero preseason games and barely watched the first two games.

Seriously, is Lance Moore still on the team?

I wondered about him, too. Saw him on the sideline once. I honestly can't believe they think Justin Brown is a better option than Moore. He must be in someone's dog house.

Moore was out the last two weeks. He played last night but didn't see any balls his way.

Ha that's funny forgot all about him until this post, I feel he needs to be on the field over Brown and Bey, jmo!

Lance cant block for *****....

If you want to run the ball like we did last night, as I am sure we all would, Justin Brown or DHB are the men for the job.

Justin Brown can't hold onto the ball for ****, though.

DHB can be that long route decoy, and every once in a while if you see him single covered throw the bomb and probably we'll get a favorable flag

He played one snap. Guess he wasn't ready yet

Justin Brown needs to be on the bench. Actually, I think he needs to be on the practice squad. He totally, and completely, sucks ***. He's a ******* turnover waiting to happen, every damn time.

I saw him on the sidelines but didn't notice him in the game.

Blocking is why Brown is playing over Moore. With the amount of screens we run Brown will play.

According to kaboly he asked lance if he was injured lance said no. Kaboly stated Steelers might've thought J. Brown is a better blocker to help the run.

Agree about the blocking and remember it took two seasons before Cotchery was a factor at all and three before he put up numbers. Shouldn't be like that, but Ben just seems to click with players or not off the hop.

I don't get the hate for Justin Brown. One fumble and we just turn on him completely??? He's the only WR that can block for ****.

Lance Moore played one snap. He just wasn't part of the gameplan, probably because we wanted to focus on the run game and we used more two TEs sets and even brought in the fullback. We'll need Moore when the gameplan (or game situation) calls for no-huddle.

he's dropping passes constantly, he caught everything during training camp. He needs to fix it fast

As others have noted, Brown can sure as hell block. Watch any running play that gets into the secondary, and you will see the DB near Brown completely neutralized. He blocks like he means it.

And it is not a coincidence that he played a lot of snaps yesterday, and the Steelers ran for 264 yards.

As it stands, the kid sucks. I'm thrilled that he can block, that's a great skillset to have, if your an offensive lineman. First and foremost he needs to be able to 1- catch, and 2- secure the ball. Who knows how that Baltimore game goes if he doesn't fumble it away in Ravens territory. I'm not saying we run away with it, but the offense sure seemed to be on track till that little gaff by our blocking phenom.

DHB has dropped one ball, but overall, he's looked FAR better at playing the wr position than has Brown. Now, I'm not saying he's a better blocker, I don't know, but one would think you could teach a WR to block a lot quicker than you can teach him to catch and secure the ball.
