Lamar Jackson, the bottom is falling out beneath him.

Have you heard Lamar Jackson speak? Are you aware his wonderlic score is something like a 12. Now he's blaming other people for his failures. The OC was pretty good last year. Now the NFL has figured his out.

We could have a closet Ravens fan in Mr. Kelly.

Typical rant from the likes of you. Yes I’ve heard him talk. It wouldn’t be far fetched to think he has better diction than you as well, based upon your dialogue in this form.

Sure he’s pouting, pointing fingers, all QBs do. Even Ben used to early in his career....remember? It’s called maturation. He will learn from it, or end up like Kordell.

This Wonderlic BS you hype on....its all a bunch of BS. Some of the greatest QBs in the NFL had low scores. Marino, Jim Kelly and Bradshaw scored a 15 on the Wonderlic, so according to you, colloquially speaking, they are about as smart as a box of rocks. The test is a measurement if applied equally. Some players take the test seriously, some do not. Kinda like you getting your GED.

The same as you banging away that I’m a Rats fan, because I’m disagreeing with your social/cultural opinion on a Balt player.

His completion percentage is near last among starting QB's

His TD' thrown is 20th of 32.

His passing yards thrown is 27th

His passer rating is 20th.

Just imagine if he didn't have a good running game and defense to support him? Recently Jackson said, opposing defenses are "calling out our plays."

Maybe that's because the playbook is limited to suit you?

Oh yeah, he can run like the wind. Once he gets hurt, and ages, what will be left? I think we have seen his best. How far until he reaches bottom's is now the question.

The hit at the goal line against us was a solid shot. I forget who it was that hit him. I was surprised Jackson just popped back up. I imagine though that one can only take so many shot like that. The clock is ticking.

Interesting. Just looked up the All-Time NFL rushing leaders from the QB position. Sure, there are the names that folks bandy about when they want to bash "running QB's"; Vick leads the pack at 6,109 yards. Cam Newton is second with 5,120 yards (Although one could argue that Cam has had a successful career even with injuries). It get's interesting after those two. Names like Cunningham (in my book one of the top dual threat QB's of all time), Russel Wilson (The top dual threat QB of this era?) Steve Young (hated the team, but Steve was something special) and Fran Tarkenton (Never saw him play, but the old clips show a master at being a dual threat) round out the top six. Most of those guys had good to great careers.

I'm not saying Lamar will be as good as any of them in the long run. Hell, I hope he isn't, but that the Rats pay him big $$$ anyway. I am saying that the idea of a "running" or "dual threat" QB gets spoken of around here like it's a weakness. If it is, it's a weakness that we had better get used to. Because the days of the pure pocket passer are coming to an end as colleges are developing more mobile dual threat types. With pass rushes being as good as they are today, it's almost a necessity that a QB be mobile and present at least the threat of a run here and there. The game is changing.

OH, and **** BALTIMORE!!!

What a joke you are. Jackson is s low IQ moron. You defend him? Out coached how? I say it with examples, you just say it because you need to say something.

They’re 6-2 and he’s the reigning, unanimous pick MVP. Things couldn’t get much worse.

Sure, I’m a joke....I’m not the one poster with nonsensical blathering on the vast majority of his/her posts. So says the vast majority on here. Again, Outcoached is owned and out-coached.

Also I am not defending anyone. I am only pointing the infinitesimal ability of your brain, which is borderline accusatory racist, if not purely opinionated. You give us Examples? You don’t know even know what Jackson’s actual IQ is, for all we know it’s three times as greater than yours. Which would put him at about an average Wonderlic score if he applied himself when he took it. I’m only replying to a post because I call out bullshit...and you, OutCoached, are full of it.

The average Wonderlic score is a 20.
Dan Marino, Jim Kelly and Terry Bradshaw scored 15’s.
Lamar Jackson scored a 14.
Punter Pat Mcinally is the only player in NFL history to score a perfect 50.
Mike Mamula scored a 49
Kevin Curtis, Fitzmagic and Ben Watson all scored 48's.
I don't think any of the guys in the high scoring group are headed to the HOF anytime soon. While Marino, Kelly and Bradshaw have obviously punched their tickets.
By the way, a person who scores a 10 or above is considered literate, while anything lower might suggest illiteracy. So, speaking like Lamar must mean speaking like a literate. Unless of course, it's the use of "Ebonics" that really gets you going.

By the way, if you like Tua, you'll probably hate the fact that his Wonderlic was lower than Jackson's. Tua scored a 13.

Ravens have a Tecmo Bowl offense. Not even Super Tecmo. They have like the old school 4 play tecmo bowl offense. You guess the dive play then watch for the bootleg and you're golden.

jackson is different than other "running" QBs. Others like Cunningham and even Vick were still primarily passers first who would take off running. The Ravens have made Jackson a runner first by design. He is struggling to be a passer. Teams have learned his comfort throws and take them away and force him to throw it outside where his accuracy is terrible. It's why the had to sign Dez Bryant because they need a big WR to jump up for his off target throws.

Ravens will be expected to sign him long term next year in year 4 of his deal. If they don't, it will become a running question like it did with Dak. I hope they give him big bucks.

Tua appears to be football smart. He understands coverages and has a feel for the passing game. Jackson has none of that. Jackson appears football dumb. If the run fakes don't create a wide open first option then he has no idea where to go with the ball.

I don't disagree. In fact, I was trying to offer up a rebuttal to Coach's apparent claim that the Wonderlic is an accurate barometer of a QB's potential for success. Plenty of high Wonderlic guys have washed out. While plenty of low wonderlic guys have had good to great careers. I think it comes down to those guys who learned to use their running as a complement to what they can do with their arms and didn't just get by relying on their God given abilities.

QB'ing primarily comes down to one's ability to process visual information at a very high rate.

Some teams have figured him out. Don't let HIM beat you.

I thought the Steelers did a good job a few weeks back. Sure - let the the running backs get 100 yards each...BUT don't let LJ run crazy. And when he does take off - hit him! Then he has to throw the ball - he can't do it.

The Colts played well in the first half last week, but let LJ take control in the second half.

I'm implying nothing. I am saying he's not very bright, and part of that has to do with reading a defense and that spills over to his QB play.

Watch his interview, here I'll use one when the Ravens won the game.

The average person needs subtitles to understand him.

He's a bit like Vince Young. Young took the NFL by storm early, then NFL adjusted. Like Young Jackson's wonderlic score was very low.

I hope the Ravens make him the highest paid player in football!

Go **** yourself. How dare you. I've been on this board for 10+ years and never said anything border racists about any ethnic group. When I said out-coached I provide examples. When you say it, you add no content.

As an FYI Lamar Jackson's Wonderlic score was a 13. Very low, according to test guidelines, suited for a janitor. The average NFL QB is in the 20's, double Jackson's score. Some NFL teams, who in your small mind are racist say we want out QB to score at least a 17 on this test. I had to take the test once for a job, they said I scored upper-level green. When I asked what that means they said 38 out of 50.

I bet you score below 20.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderlic_test

**My mistake, the average Janitor scores a 14.**

Now since your mind is wired for racism on this topic, Jeff Greoge had an amazing arm and velocity, he busted because he was stupid and could not read a defense , scoring a 10. I'm sure if you go back decades, you can find successful QB's.who scored below a 20. You do know the game has changed and is much more complicated these days.

Ah...yes the baby starts crying with expletives. Boring and shows what an *** you are. You tell us plain and simple OutCoached what do you mean when you say “listen to way Jackson speaks”? You ignored Bermuda’s question. What are you saying about the way Jackson phonetically talks?

Yeah you’ve been a freeloader longer than 10 years as well. Go kiss yourself in the mirror. I’ve been on this board in its many iterations since the late nineties, and since your arrival you’ve always had narcissistic ideals and delusions of grandeur about yourself. You routinely opine as fact, but provide no proof of rationale independent thinking. It’s funny you use Jeff George as an example, since you have the exact same 10 cent head, but obviously without his earnings. You still haven’t provided examples about Wonderlic, only excuses. Steel Buckeye gave you all the info you need, but you can’t even use it for your argument. I already gave you three HOF QBs with a similar Wonderlic score than Jackson. I also already said the average score was 21. You love to repeat something someone else said and call it yours.

Yes, yes, you made a 38 on the Wonderlic, sure. I’m sure we all believe that unicorns are real too. More self gratification from a narcissistic dumbass like yourself.

I don’t need to take a Wonderlic, I’ve already know my IQ and don’t have the need to grab positive attention for a fragile ego like yours. You’ve already shown you can’t own a bet, so stop asking people to do so. Do yourself a favor, try not to give so many posters ammunition to show how OutCoached and owned you are on football topics.

You have an opinion OutCoached, nothing more. Anything beyond that is purely your imagination. Live with it you moron.

I remember one poster calling you out on something racial. So this isn't the first time you have mentioned something that could be perceived as racist.

Hey those few times might be an incorrect assessment on their part.

Maybe.

You belittling every Tom, Dick, and Harry does say way more about you than it does them.

"We ticked off. Don't nobody like losining" , said Lamar Jackson. The Ravens fell to 0-6 when Jackson is the starter and they trail by 10-plus points at any point in the game. The reigning NFL MVP also had his fifth game with a sub-100 passer rating, which ties the longest streak of his young career (Weeks 3-7, 2019).

https://www.nfl.com/news/lamar-jackson-ravens-ticked-off-after-loss-to-patriots

The decline continues. Despite being down and needing to pass, all Jackson could only muster 249 yards on 34 attempts ( 7.32 per pass, which is low ). The pick he threw cost his team points.

I never said anything or the sort. If I mocked Jeff George, who I bought into the post later and kept the topic on him, you know who would say nothing, but because its Lamar Jackson on the dirty Ravens it's suddenly its racial? Eft that. You'll thumbs up anyone who disagree with me. That is your habit. Doesn't mean what I saying is wrong. Ike Kelly is a dumb ***, you can kiss it all you wish.
