Lamar Jackson Sucks

I hope our defense is better than Jackson led offense.

Salute the nation

Yeah he sucks and he will finish ahead of the Steelers again So who sucks more

Well we are on our 3rd string QB... I would damn well hope so. Hope Ravens fans enjoy some regular season wins, they’ll never win in the playoffs with a RB pretending to be a QB. Dude is garbage.

He's not the worst QB to ever play. But he's not a good QB. He's mobile and he can run for yards. But he still doesn't have the progression and timing that good NFL QBs have. A lot of his throws are jump balls but you aren't beating the pats*** or Chiefs with jump balls and praying for PI calls.

He’s another fad QB.
Vick, Kaepernick, RGiii say hi.

He’s athletic, but once teams start catching onto his mobility, back to looking for a pocket passer

At least he gets them to the playoffs, us, not once since he has been in the league and this year is over for us.

The defense shut him down almost completely once they forced him to stay in the pocket.

That’s my point. He’s not a pocket passer. He needs to be moving. Mobile QB’s are not the best defensive readers.
They constantly need the dynamic play. Force him in the pocket, he’s making mistakes.

The NFL has seen these types of QB’s for a few decades, yet act shocked when one steps onto the scene.

While that is true, their coaches know how to coach garbage. Ours undermine our changes.

Screw Tomlin. He cost us a chance to score by not calling a time out soon enough at the end of the half. He called a time out icing his own kicker. And the dummy won the over time coin toss and elected not to take the ball.

Trust me, I want Tomlin gone yesterday but you can't possibly blame the game on that. We had a chance to win.. when you place blame on one person no matter what, you're reasons for Tomlin sucking lose credibility. Did Tomlin make questionable calls again? Yes like every game but Juju fumbled this game away... we were almost in FG range. You can't have your only reliable receiving target do that.

This one was not on Tomlin. It was not on Juju. They made better plays coming down the stretch.

Every part of the team contributed to that loss.

Gameplan
Fumbles
Not so special teams.
Pass D

and refs

If Tomlin called a time out rather than let the clock bleed just before the half we have an extra play to throw it in the end zone!

If he didn’t blow a time out to ice his own kicker maybe we throw it deep and hope for a completion or pass interference then use a time out and let Boswell try to win the game with a long Field goal just before the clock expires.

Two plays right there. Ah what could have been. This isn’t complicated stuff.

A good coach puts his team in position to win. Ours limits our chances with stupidity. I’ve seen this crap for years. Ben bailed us out year after year. Now that his comebacks won’t happen season Tomlin’s folly will be magnified.

Tape, this was a pretty spot on post and the Steelers did a good job overall defending him. He's pretty slippery when scrambling and those were pretty much the best plays of the day from Baltimore. You take Mark Barron off the field and maybe a couple of those passes to the TEs don't happen either.

A lot of people have not actually seen Jackson play. He often ends up with good stats because he runs so much. Running QBs are fantasy football gold. They can suck in real life like Jackson but rack up tons of points because rushing yards count more than passing and in many leagues, a rushing TD counts more than a passing TD.

If people want to say Jackson is a great prospect and they think he'll be great in the future, fine. But that's not what the media says. They have declared him great right now. He's not even close.

Even Fouts today was kissing his *** and talking about the great read he made. Bullshit. On that particular play, he stared down the TE on a cross and just waited for him to get open then he threw it.

As Steeler fans, we went through the Kordell years so we know how this movie ends. When it's going to plan, he looks unstoppable. Then a team stuffs the run and you have to pass from the pocket and you come up short. But it's close. Close enough that you keep thinking, If only he gets just a tiny bit better at passing, he'll be unstoppable. Then you waste years waiting for it to happen.

All social media had his "stiff arm" on TJ Watt today and made Jackson out to be a star. Didn't mention his three picks.

Exactly, another big win for the great Lamar Jackson. Just show the Watt stiff arm and his 1 good pass to Brown. Most media people are dumb and lazy. Twitter and social media has eliminated journalism. Now most so called journalists just surf the net for what's trending then either amplify that or go against it as a hot take.

Fine by me if Ravens keep believing in him. I'd gladly face Jackson for years to come over a pocket passer like they had in Flacco. My guess, they'll be drafting another QB within the next 3 years.

Deferring the kickoff in OT was absolutely the right call. Defense was playing well, the ST's as usual were not. Hold them to 3-and-out and punt, which we did, you get better field position than if you received a kickoff. Our return game is non-existent and we're down to our third-string QB. Shades does a lot of boneheaded things but this was not one of them. Probably the smartest decision he's made since I don't know when.
