LA Rams? Chargers? Raiders?

All the owners made out like bandits - the final vote was 30-2, behind closed doors.

Jerry World West will be the new NFL Mecca... and it's owner will pay for it all.

Who the **** cares about the St Louis Rams anyway? They looked better in LA uniforms. They belong in LA.

Please... the Steelers very own Art II was one of the proponents of the deal too. Seems like they screwed St.Louis, Oakland and San Diego - as well as painted both the Raiders and Chargers organizations into a corner to make the Rams dream a reality.

Not sure how any of that disagrees with anything I said. Yeah, Art II got on board after initially favoring a move to Carson and not Inglewood. But after seeing where the wind was blowing, I'm sure he agreed to Inglewood. I never absolved him of anything though. It's the billionaires boy club after all. San Diego has a slim chance of keeping the Chargers but looks like Oakland is screwed out of the Raiders too. But the St. Louis fans got screwed over first and foremost.

Doi you know what kills markets like Jacksonville? the blackout policy.... neither of my parents were really sports fans when I grew up... had I not had access to TV with games on at a young age I probably wouldn't have fallen in love with these sports as much as I have... how do you build a fanbase by restricting access to the product? its asinine and outdated.

***** gotta suck.

I recall when we almost lost the Pens. I would have been crushed if that actually happened. While not being in the city for years now, it's still my home, their still my sports teams.

I think we are safe as a team as long as the Rooney's always own the steelers. When/if someone else does, highest bidder for new city can happen to any team. 21 years (I think) they were their just to be plucked up again to a place that doesn't watch football. I feel for them.

I think one day they should just reshuffle the franchises and everyone gets their teams back and Indy and Arizona and Indy get left in the cold. Throwback season.
Baltimore is the Colts
St. Louis is the Cardinals
La is the Rams
Houston is the Oilers
Cleveland and Oakland are oh well they are just stuck with that ****

If attendance is bad I say tough luck. I just don't like it if the team says to the community "build us the Crystal palace or else"

And take it even further and disband the expansion teams (Seattle and Tampa Bay specifically)

They suspended the blackout rule for 2015, I don't think it's permanent yet.

I was hoping that they would wind up in San Andreas so they could be the San Andreas Faults

Public funding of stadiums is always going to be a "what have you done for me lately?" proposition.

The irony is that now when you see empty seats at an NFL game, it's usually because privileged rich ******* decided not to go to the game.

Something I dont understand here... The reason the Rams are going back to LA is mainly because the owner wanted a new stadium. Why didn't he just build it himself. I just read that he is married to one of the Walmart heiresses and that the both of them together are worth like $12 billion. They could build a stadium like Jerryworld and still have $11 billion left over. I know that might be cutting things close only having $11 billion left, but I think they would be able to scrape by.

They didn't become billionaires by spending their own money.

California is broke. The fed will be bailing them out which means we are all bailing them out. They better not be using tax money on this stadium.

We should divide California into 2 states and give Southern California back to Mexico.

I always thought its past time to divide a bunch of states, Pa among them... Western Pa is a totally different political structure and culture than Eastern Pa. Also I hate sharing a state with those fucktards from Philly...and all their teams too...lol

I lived in SoCal 88-to maybe 92 before I moved up to Bakersfield. You couldnt give Rams tickets away. My brother was in Pop Warner. His team, Rams. The team gave us blocks of tickets to sell as a fund raiser, they were almost front and center. The only tickets we sold were to player parents. We really couldnt give them away.

I think it will fail. Thats just my opinion and the stadium location is ******* lame.

I think the only team that stands a chance is the Raiders. IDK what the San Antonio chatter is and if its entirely legit, but Texas is more "business friendly" than LA. If Im a player, Im sure as hell not making Cali my place of residence. The state will have a nice chunk of everyone's change.

Why do you think Howard is with the Rockets? He cant afford to live in Cali with all those damn kids he has and child support, lol.
