Kraft charges dropped

At least Vince was honest when the Athletic Commissions moved to regulate pro wrestling and he acknowledged the "sport" as "sports entertainment" and not competitive sports.

I believe the NFL is moving closer and closer to letting the public in on the fact of scripted outcomes for sports entertainment purposes. Also might help with concussion liabilities as a byproduct if regulation and/or litigation becomes more stringent. At some point maybe not too far off, kids will be talking about the NFL the way we used to talk about 'rasslin' in the South: "Do you think it's real, or fake?"

By the age of 13-14, we were like, "I know it's fake, but you can't tell me some of those moves aren't real and don't hurt!"

The NFL (national fantasy league) is a GREED MACHINE and will hange onto to legitimacy for as long as possible. It's the gambling side that needs that so I don't see them acknowledging "entertainment sport" anytime soon.

You're right about the 12-14 year olds argueing real or fake but today's NFL it all ages from old enough to understand to senior-hood.

Myself personally, I don't bet or play FF. I'm an O'l die-hard STEELERS fan and quite frankly don't give a **** about the NFL except STEELERS related or what I find here, on the greatest STEELERS board in the world....

And I thank all and everyone associated with ownership / running / financing / moderating (including Coolie because I know he has a lot of class but I'm concerned with what class he falls into, I said class not GLASS) / trolls / poster(s) of all nature including the one who posts "run the gauntlet" and the other one who posts "ask drunk Cope" / authors of articles / fellow luxury vehicle drivers / foreign and domestic and even the Canadians / If you don't fall under any of these catagories then you must be an honest and smart person........ Someone we don't get around here very often but know you are welcomed.

The End

Salute the nation

I'm sure they'll never acknowledge the fakery to the uninitiated masses, but it's becoming more and more obvious to anyone of average or better discernment.

Shoot, looking back?

In the NFL's 75th season the SF 49ers beat the SD Chargers "49-26" in the SB. Even that should have clued us back then. Not to mention all red, white, and blue uni's Bills-Giants SB in '91 for patriotic catharsis during height of Gulf War national anxieties. Same with Pats-Eagles for the next go-round with Saddam, and of course Pats during 911 and the Katrinas winning.

Watch Gleason's blocked kick again even on the first big moment back in the Superdome? Pretty obvious the Red Sea parted for him.

Mike Greenberg all but told us when he said, "for the only time I've experienced, I KNEW there was NO WAY the Saints could lose that game that night."

So, they tell us only in so many words.

Been put in one of those. The real kind!! Using pressure from the shin was killer.

Sent from my iPad using Steeler Nation mobile app

And if you "reverse it" it puts similar pressure on the aggressor's calf. That said, it was pretty rare that Ric Flair could obtain a submission from the Figure 4 -- typically it got reversed on him or Dusty would drag his carcass to the ropes for the break, lol.

so I guess the 5th amendment ceases to exist at the Florida border.. just go away.

One can not use the 5th amendment to avoid all the powers of subpoenas. Educate yourself private.
