Exactly. And reason 135 to get rid of Tomlin. He cannot secure top quality position coaches or coordinators. Munchak was the lone coach that could raise the level of the group and adjust to what the other team was doing and get better as the game went on.

I’m not a Tomlin supporter, but I don’t think there was anything the Steelers could do to keep Munchak. Everything I read or heard said that he went to Denver because he wanted to be near his family. They could have offered him the head job and maybe he would’ve stayed for that, but in the end he still wouldn’t be coaching the offensive line.
