No doubt, the dude has come up small in some key moments.

Don't know if I'd agree that JuJu is "flagrantly duplicitous, behaving one way in front of cameras and 180 degrees differently when they're off," though. He was incredibly kind and cool with both of my sons on the last two Steelers cruises. Of course, he's opted out of the next one in 2020, so DK may be on to something.

Hines Ward catches that pass.

Wow! Our fan base and media are vicious. Given how JuJu has played in the past, I ‘ll give him the benefit of the doubt. My suspicion is his injury played a factor, but he’s not going to say that.

And yes, as top seed said, he’s come up small in key moments, but he’s also come up big his share of times (maybe not to close out a game, but to keep us in them).

I think it’s an unfair criticism to say that he doesn’t take his craft seriously, but if we need to find a scapegoat (as always seems to be the case), he makes a convenient target.

If he was hurt he shouldn't be playing. However, it isn't his fault that the offense is stagnate and the plays look like they were drawn up in the dirt by an 8th grader.

Y’all sound like a bunch of bitter 8th grade girls.

This offense has trouble scoring double digits. The quarterbacks suck. The line can't block. The running backs go down easily. The OC can't scheme a game plan that they can even accidentally score 20+ points. Yeah, totally JuJu's fault they lost. Dumb.

That article could be about Pouncey, Foster, Villanueva, Edmunds as all of them have underperformed through the whole season, so why the attack on juju?
Where does that duplicitous talk comes from?

I would say that Pouncey and Edmunds have certainly got their share of criticism. I know JuJu is a fan favorite. Does that exclude him from some deserving criticism? He’s had some pretty dam big plays not go in our favor the last few years. I like the kid too,and he’s young. Let’s hope next year is a big bounce back.......it’s been frustrating to say the least.

I'm not saying he played a great game or that he has played well this year. But he's way down the list of issues this team has on offense.

JuJu has a very bad recent history. 2 very costly fumbles and the missed catch in crunch time today. Hard to say how serious he is taking things, but hopefully its just a matter of bad luck vs choking or not being professional. I do think that today the catch was very tough so cant be too hard on him for todays game.

Penn State frat party?????

WTF?

Difference is JUJU can put points on the board these dudes don't. We've gotten practically nothing from our #1. He is performong as a # 2.5 receiver, he has been that bad...

Can anyone in Pittsburgh ever write an article about who is really to blame here. Ever??

It is a common theme to point to players. Nevermind the two responsible for what players they decided on, or what position(s) neglected.

Much easier to point to a certain play over the root of the problem I guess.

Mark Madden has been very critical of JuJu all season. I was hoping JuJu would shut him up as Madden knows a lot about hockey and a lot less about football, but it looks like he was right.

DJ is going to be our number 1 next year putting JUJU back to the role he succeeded in his 1st 2 years.

Well no.matter what he will have the entire offseason to play video games, work on his brand and make extra cash.

While someone else hopefully on the Steelers or preparing for the combine is busting his *** to be the best.

Agree; he’s earned benefit of the doubt.

JuJu took the blame for that miss at the end of the game but he is just being a leader. There were at least 3 or 4 defenders around him and the ball was well behind him. He jumped and barely got a fingertip on it. Even if he made some miraculous catch, that wasn't getting us where we needed to go. It was another bad through, unfortunately (cause we were all rooting for Duck) in a forgettable two week span for Duck that did serious damage to his NFL career.

You do realize Who was throwing to him right?

Yeah, JuJu and 99% of the rest of the receivers in the league weren't catching that pass. Don't live in fantasy land thinking that ball was on the money and JuJu simply dropped it. And don't let a clown like Mark Madden lead a crusade in hating JuJu. If that was a Pittsburgh Penguin doing the exact same thing he would have him out there on a pedestal.
