Kevin Greene passed away

Just another reason to give 1/2 star out of 5 for 2020. Ready for this COVID stuff to be done with. I wonder if Kevin had complications from it.

Wow, so sad. Some nice memories from that era. I always though Greene would have made a nice defensive coordinator for us. Greene and Lloyd duo was bad ***. There was one year they must have knocked out a dozen starting QB's out of the game in a 16 game schedule. These guys didn't just hit you. They destroyed you.

he was the Hulk Hogan of football. loved him. he was bon to be a Steeler. one of my fvorite days a a Steeler fan was when he signed with us, and one of the saddest was when he left.. it is never a good time to loose someone so young but a few days before Christmas makes it even worse. RIP

Goddammit. I still see him as indestructible in my mind. Freaking shame. Will always been one of my all time favorite Steelers.

Geeez. I come on here looking for the pre game ramble and see this. Little shocked
I loved watching him flying around with that long blond hair wreaking havoc.
Way to early.

Steeler Faithful ..... Go out live your life, have fun. Don't sweat the small stuff
My Dad always said " you're dead for a long time"

My condolences to his family, friends and fans. He was absolutely a GREAT STEELERS and continued the STEELERS LineBacker tradition. An all time great and represented what it took to be a STEELERS Player, top to bottom.

R.I.P. Kevin

Salute the nation and Kevine Green

Kevin Greene was the reason I loved the LB position growing up. He was a ******* badass and, though he only played 3 years for us, a Steeler through and through. He stated it was the pinnacle of his career playing here and had a towel in his pocket for his HoF speech. Still pissed we never gave him a coaching job when he literally asked for one.

RIP, Kevin.

Damn,,,I was listening to this cluster f of a game when Bill H mentioned that Greene passed away. Couldn't believe it, still can't. Man what a competitor with a motor that wouldn't quit. Damn shame he and Lloyd didn't get a ring with the Steelers. How incredibly sad.

I own two jerseys: #36 and #91. I'll need to go grab it out of the archives....Damn...

Sad day, sad times. Condolences to his family and friends. He made an awesome impact in three years as a Steeler, and seemed a class person. Way too young.....

What a sad day. I loved KG, he was a great Steeler even in his short stint.

Wow I'm just shocked. I thought my eyes had deceived me. I loved KG! My condolences to his family. This is so sad. RIP.

What was wrong with him? Was he sick?
