Vice President and General Manager Kevin Colbert signed a one-year extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, which will keep him with the team through the 2022 NFL Draft. It is known that Colbert will reassess his time with the Steelers on a year by year basis, so the extension seems like a formality at this point in the offseason. Colbert’s contract was due to expire after the 2021 NFL Draft, instead he will enjoy his 22nd season with the team since joining in 2000.

Good.... between now and next draft-free agency he can help the Steelers find their BigBen replacement.

I too am glad he is here for another year. I hope he stays as long as Tomlin stays because he kind of off-sets that scenario.

Salute the nation

After that short stretch of poor drafts, Colbert has been crushing it. Glad he's on for another year.
Just as long as we keep his son too he’s the rock star finding all the talent. I’d fire Ben, tomlin and colbert, made the son gm and cleansed house... mark my words its going to get ugly

Reports are he retires when Ben retires
Any chance Tomlin ALSO wants to retire with them and the three of them can walk out together?
