I mean if you wanted to have a legit debate about this, hodges was an undersized qb with a less than average arm and who was a gunslinger who didn’t read plays well…

Pickett is none of those… his reads were mostly really good.
Rookie Qbs usually don’t have great success… if picketvthrows one td and less than four interceptions next game he probably has had a better three game debut than Peyton manning had…

And the other thing is the wrs left a lot of plays on the field… its not like he wasn’t targeting them
