KC vs Browns

Your right it's the right call but that feeling you had when Jessie James caught the apparent game winning TD vs the Patriots until it was ruled incomplete despite crossing the plane of the goal line is basically the same thing Clowns fans feel today. That rule will be changed in the off-season. BANK ON IT! Cleveland played a good game today and should have won this game.

no the same at all

Jesse caught the ball and made a football move to score a TD. Bad officiating took that score off the board

That rule has come into play many times. How would you change the rule without basically rewarding the team that fumbled the ball.

and that play happened in the first half, they still had a ton of time to overcome the turnover.

He clearly lost control of the ball before it crossed the plane.

Not the point. They are the Browns and worth hating again. They still hevnt won or even been to the big game.
Exactly. We got punished by our mistakes and the Browns last week. They played a perfect game.

Had a penalty been called on the fumble - this game has a different result.

I would not discount them as the league bums anymore...

Was a Helmet to Helmet hit by the DB. That will become a re-viewable call rules change in the off-season. Bank on it!

taking bets that Tomlin would have punted on that 4th and 1 to give Baker the ball with a minute left? I can't see HCMT going for that ever with Ben or, let alone, Mason behind center with a trip to the AFCCG on the line at the 50.

That was the definition of "The standard is the standard."

I think I would have punted. In fact, I would have probably called a run on 3rd down and punted.

It may be the rule, but they were so worried about enforcing it that they missed a pretty blatant helmet-to-helmet on the play.

It's pretty well impossible NOT to go helmet to helmet when the runner is diving head first for the goal line. It was a good no call.

Clowns got hosed by the officials on that fumble into the endzone that game.

Not really. People would've been more up in arms about the helmet to helmet contact on a bang-bang play than they are about the end zone fumble rule.

Cleveland's fortunate that it wasn't an even bigger deficit before they started inching their way back into the game. And no, the rule won't be changed. We hear that bullshit every single time this happens to a team, but the NFL never changes it, it's been in the rule book for a long time. And personally, I'm fine with it. Don't wanna fumble out of the endzone? Then secure the ball. The only way I'd be okay with a rule change, is if they fumbling team got to keep the ball, but had to go ALLLL the way back to their own 20 or 25 yard line and start over. **** giving it to the fumbling team at their opponent's 1-yard line, that's BS.

The Mighty Chiefs scored just 3 points in the second half. Three. Was part of that because King Mahomes got injured? Probably. But their defense allowed Cleveland back in the game and to make it close. The Chiefs are NOT infallible.

Not infallible but still better than the browns. The browns had their opportunity to win it against that same defense and punted when it mattered the kost.

Not so much what the Chiefs are than what the clowns aren't.

The Chefs were in command when PM went down. Henne was ok, but he threw that lame duck INT in the endzone. The Browns got some momentum, but couldn't close it out and stop KC.

The Chiefs can be beat like any team in the playoffs but I'll still be rooting for them to win it all now that the Saints are out.

some people have been preaching that for weeks

I’m in Chiefs Country, so any opinion other than MAHOMES IS GOD is frowned upon. Ive always thought they aren’t as perfect as what the media make them out to be. I thought living in Cowboys Country was annoying when I lived in TX. Chiefs Country is a million times worse.

To be fair the Chiefs are all that until someone knocks them off their throne. I do think their D can be exposed. And it might come as early as next week.

Gotta give Henne props for sealing the game with long run and short pass on 4th to ice it.

That’s big time clutch
