KC vs Browns

Haha! Browns gaining momentum and fumble it out of the end zone on what could've been a TD.

Now while I’m happy with the touchback, could that have been a penalty for leading with the helmet on Soerenson?

I hope the browns savored their one playoff victory.

For as often as you see players dive for the pylon, I’m surprised you don’t see more fumble out of the endzone.

That's probably the game. There are some blown opportunities that are nearly impossible to overcome.

Just cant do that against the Chiefs...

They will probably go down and score here.

Definitely cannot leave touchdowns on the field against them.

The Super Bowl is the Chiefs to lose this year, but for entertainment's sake, I hope they don't just blow teams out the rest of the way.

Yeah...Sorensen is a head-hunter too. One of the worst. Good thing he's on the chefs.

When have we seen this helmet play called more than not not even mentioned. To many rules to many officiating crews that set themselves for one call...look at this game how many holding calls have been flagged.

QBs throwing the ball farther than 5 yards .... Crazy!

The helmet rule tge nfl has is beyond stupid and is never enforced unless its the old defenseless receiver or qb hits... as sherman said when they put it in in 18.... it’s impossible not to lead with your head in most tackles especially on a diving player... and if they want those hits out then they should just make it illegal for offensive players to dive headfirst... that cuts down most of these kind of hits on running plays... if you dive its on you...

I thought the helmet to helmet only applied to contact on QBs and receivers attempting to catch the ball. I had no idea it even applied to runners, which is what Higgins was in that situation.

That should not have been targeting. He wasn't a defenseless receiver. He was a runner and he chose to dive head first. The defender has to be allowed to make a hit. He couldn't go any lower. Only other option was let him score. If they make that targeting and then make it reviewable, then may as well coach every runner to dive head first for a free 5 yard because the defense then By rule can't stop it.

The game has just become overregulated.

I understand the need for safety, but you can only do so much in a full contact sport without ruining the game.
