He's the type of back I have been saying the Steelers need. If they are going to be in the shotgun all the time, you need a 3 down back with speed back there next to Ben.
Oline has been touched on in other threads but RB is in need of an upgrade.

I agree 100% on RB needing an upgrade. Conner's story is a love affair with most fans BUT he isn't giving the team what RB needs to give. Our draft has several needs, OL / RB / D / QB and not neccessarily in that order. A QB is definately high order but the HIGHEST order is new OC.

They need a runner that can go in-between the tackles as well as bounce it outside. Conner is more of a straightline runner. I like you love his story love his willpower. Love everything he represents. I have no wish for him to be gone, but I do think he is better served as a change of pace type. Injuries play a strong hand into this way of thinking but the type of runner he is plays a hand as well.

True to an extent. You can have more of a bruiser if your QB goes under center and uses play action. With the way we play and our O-line not being able to run block, we need a speedster that can catch.
