Everything that I read says he is under contract for the 2017 year....this is his 3rd season of his rookie 4 year contract. After that we can tender him another season I believe.

Yeah you're right. I forgot SD claimed him off waivers. Thought he was on a one year deal there. I'd love to see him play instead of Landry

Yep...Go ahead and wait on that........ Come on dude.
 
Jarvis will play. They don't have the depth at olb to sit him and the starters. He's actually not an awful player. Just can't pass rush, which of course is what we need from him more than anything. His pass coverage and run support are fine and will serve some 4-3 team just fine when he leaves after the season ends.
