First of all why is he jumping. Just run thru the catch. Second of all as you can see there is only the safety yo beat and he is possibly gone..BelovedLonelyGalapagoshawk.jpg

Gif not working of course go here

Poor hand/eye coordination,....or more likely...worried about the S. Which ever, he's gotta get better.

Tough to tell from that angle but the ball may have been behind him and he was trying to reach for it. Can't tell, though.

He is a body catcher ...does not trust his hands...jumped to try and pin it on his body more...a young player with tons of talent ...that even he doesn't understand yet...hopefully hanging around AB will rub off on him...once he starts catching as many passes as AB from the jugs machine he will learn to trust his hands

Nope that was a good pass. The two to Wheaton could of been better but that one was good. The first pass to Wheaton should of been down the sideline away from the safety. The second one to Wheaton the one he dropped Ben didn't set his feet and get more on it could of led Wheaton more into the end zone. Both are shown here.

He dropped too many this year for sure. Not in the same category but Heath, uncharacteristically, seemed to drop a lot more this year.

It was windy as **** out. Maybe he misread how the ball was coming to him. Doesn't matter now

Stay on his feet and just catch it with his hands, he has a good chance to go for 6 there.

If I remember correctly, this one was relatively early in the game and it went right through both of his hands. And his other play that sucked was on his second end around, if he just turns up the friggen field, he'd gotten a first down or very close to it. Instead, he kept stringing it out and stringing it out for no gain. So frustrating.

Here is the gif of the play you reference, Andrew:

The Broncos had a ton of drops, many of which were drive killers. So it's hard to get too upset over a dropped pass that "may" have turned into a big play, assuming the safety that's closing in on Martavis (and appears to have him well lined up) doesn't drop him for a 9-yard gain.

Would love to see him catch it..a stiff arm or a good move and could be off to the races

That one sucked for sure....but he for the most part brought his A game for the big game......it was Wheaton who looked pedestrian in this game. He looked like the receivers looked in the SB vs the Packers.....scared.

That's my opinion. He lifted and swung his left leg to help turn his body to adjust to the balls location. His right foot barely leaves the ground. Ben had plenty of space to lead him. He just missed the throw.

Don't forget the two muffed punts he had.

Hines did this a lot too.

when your feet aren't bouncing off the ground, your eyeballs don't bounce, either.

didn't really work for him that time.
