Strangely enough this looks like most OC’s D game…hopefully it is enough to squeak out a cover or a miracle money line win!
 
It's to bad I have to look in every crack, turn every stone, check under the dust bunnys to try and find a scenario where this team has a chance to win.

Not long ago, I expected a win.

I think the Steelers can absolutely win this game. The Steelers are banged up in the secondary, but mostly healthy everywhere else. The Bills are also beat up in the secondary and they are pretty short WR's to boot. I still think the Steelers have to play a perfect game to win, but it can be done. What they can't do is handcuff Pickett and the offense. Playing conservative and scared is, to me, the biggest reason this team is 1-3. When this team plays aggressive football, whether it be offense or defense, they do pretty well for themselves. Sitting back and hoping your opponent makes a big mistake that you aren't challenging him into making is a losing cause.

I'd have more respect for the Steelers going out there and challenging for the win rather than sitting back and hoping for a couple breaks to make it close in the 4th quarter. When Ben got hurt in 2019 the Steelers cranked up the defense and they did well, and that defense wasn't nearly as talented as the 2022 defense. It can be done again. They have to be willing to live with getting beat on some plays. It's going to happen. You can't play scared. You can't try and manage a zero-defect scheme. It's a losing proposition.

The Steelers are the last team to have NEVER been at least a full two-touchdown underdog since the AFL /NFL merger in 1970. Until now, that is.

This follows the history made in last year's playoffs, when Kansas City became the most heavily favored team ever in the wild card era (since 1978), when they were 12-point favorites against Pittsburgh. And, as we all know, the Chiefs covered easily.

Thanks, Mike. You've obviously got the arrow pointing up for this team, if you will. Environmentally.

The good news is those are the types of games we somehow win

I’m getting stupider by the day cuz not only am I investing in +14.5 I’m real damn close to taking that +650….+700 and I don’t think I can resist

Pickett to Pickens on a prop bet or 2

I’ve put a top secret special mojo hand and voodoo plan in the works for this game, pulling out all the stops…hope it works

Less and Less, we aren't winning those games as of late. When we had a better team and OC then I agree but we are sinking deeper and deeper into the realm of us being the "trap" game oppenet to favored winners.

Correct.

The Steelers were double-digit underdogs two times last season (both to the Chiefs), and got blown out by 20+ points in each of those games.

Well he needs to come out of this on the plus side. At 1 and 3 at almost the quarter point of the season, another loss puts them WAY behind Tomlin Superbowl status (.500)

Imagine they lose next 4, which is a very distinct possibility, then they'd have only room for one hiccup and a mouth burp (tie, not in or out).

Tomlin gets this team to 8-8-1 through sheer force of will. Never a losing season. Greatest coach ever.

Last 3 playoff games......42-21 ......48-37......45-22. Today......38-3

At least our Defense tightened up their ****. 🙂🙂😂
