Expect the same type of nailbiter on Sunday night. With this team, nothing is going to come easy. The offense will score points, but the D will give them up just as easy. Who outlasts who at :00
Tomlin had the perfect chance to send a message to this team in game...DHB on the punt in the 4th ..moves then compounds the issue yelling at the ref and drawing the 15 yard penalty....pull his *** out sit him on then bench and set an example...not Tomlin ...all part of why we get 35 penalties a game... no discipline ...just do whatever you want men
If it were an issue with DHB, normally, id agree, but since it was a bit uncharacteristic of him, i can give him a pass on it.
Def beats an L or a T .. but damn can't help but think we're still an embarrassment with all the penalties and terrible defense. I still don't feel a whole lot better about Tomlin than I did after we got smoked by KC. And I don't feel *any* different about Butler. And I feel worse about Danny Smith. We are a badly coached team, period.
But yes.. I'll take that W

See I can't ...uncharacteristic or not it should not be tolerated ..you let it slide.... oh DHB did it I can do it...when does it stop..just my thoughts..a culture adjustment is needed...this excess amount of penalties cannot continue
It must be a discipline problem. Our most penalized player is Villnueva.....think he is undisciplined?
No, he is just above a mediocre OL, if not for his back story he would not get nearly the support and leeway that he gets. OL taking penalties for holding is different from guys getting 15 yards for late hits out of bounds, fighting, taking your helmet off on the field, arguing with an official...etc.
We won. We have problems. What else is new???
I think of it the same as i think of someone at work ******* up. Someone who is always on time gets treated the same as someone who is contually late? Or, if something changes with them, you discuss it privately instead of i front of everyone?
'Being late' is a example, it could be any infraction.
But the Steelers didn't win the first two weeks, did they?
But the Steelers didn't win the first two weeks, did they?
Yes you do...and I speak only from my personal experience...about 8 years ago I had 1 of 4 techs never late always 5 minutes early...he overslept 1 morning was late for his 1st call ...I let him off the hook citing his record...the other techs found out about it and it turned into a **** show...from that day forward everyone follows the rules laid out no difference ...I guess maybe it makes me a dick but so be it ....everyone is treated the same everyone is equally accountable.
1-1-1...
No, we tied in Week 1 and lost to the best team in the AFC in Week 2 (after tying up the score being down by 21)...
I'm not going to lose sleep over things that NOT ONE DAMN ONE OF US can control here.
I'm just happy the Steelers won, to avoid the **** show here if they lost to Tampa...
