We will be hosting a Steelers Rally on July 28th at Dino's in Latrobe at 6:30pm. It will he co-hosted by our sponsors 26Shirts.com and Stoney's Brewing in Latrobe.

I'm currently in talks with a few Steelers about making an appearance. Most notably Yancey Thigpen and Leon Searcy at the moment.

So please if you're planning to attend Training camp consider coming out the weekend of the 28th.

Justin, this works out perfectly for me. My niece is getting married in Geneva, NY on the 27th, and the Mrs. and I fly home out of Pgh on the morning of the 29th.

Would it be OK to bring another couple? Best friend since HS is a bigger fan than I am.
 
Maybe make this a sticky post.
Hard to say where life will take me in the next few weeks or months but I will be there if possible.

Yeah anyone can come. It'll be open to the public.
 
Me and the girls will be there on 8/2 for practice and Friday Nights Lights the next day. Wish we could come for this tho.

Dino must be a fairly common name. My uncle owned a shot and beer bar for years called Dino's in Jeannette.

No wings, but great roast beef sammiches.
 
If you take an uber down from the city be careful because it's unlikely(though not impossible) that you will be able to get one going back to the city. Coverage in Greensburg is spotty as is, and Latrobe is beyond there.

Boy these posts are taking me back and have me reminiscing. My grandparents spent most of their lives in Jeannette, mom was born in Greensburg, and my great uncle Bernie & wife Joanne were actually neighbors to the Montana's in Monongahela way back when. I'm sure my grandfather frequented your uncle's bar Dino, as he was a true beer-loving Polack. My old man and I try to get back to Pittsburgh every year (we like to go back during Fall or Winter), but maybe we can make a summer trip to Training Camp happen. I've been telling him for years it'd be worth it.

I go past the city on my way home so if anyone needs a ride let me know.
