Pittsburgh Steelers‘ former team MVP, JuJu Smith-Schuster is set to become a free agent this offseason. Given the team’s current cap situation and the assumed asking price, it seems likely the receiver will hit the market. And he’s already drawing interest from other teams. The*Las Vegas Raiders are said to be “very interested” in the […]

seems whoever gets is ready to over pay good 2-3 excellent from the slot and on the outside in the RedZone, lacks elite separation so if the jets or raiders want to offer him 15-20 mill per year average, I have no problem letting him go, this draft is stocked with both similar-sized WR size of guys like AB, Goodwin who are faster, or can be had in the mid rnds that can create seperation.

That said they have viable replacement at the position.

This is the money statement right here. I love JuJu...his game and the energy and smiles he brings and do want him back. However, we have so many other needs and our WR corps has some depth. There are going to be hard choices and I think JuJu ends up one of them.

On the flip side, intersting Raiders are interested in another Steelers WR. Think they give us a third for him? SMH.

Maybe as a Compensatory 6th from the league. Juju is a UFA. Not surprised this happened with Bell or even Bud for that matter. Juju as a UFA is about Steelers mismanagement of the cap Them trying to get a SB before the window closed. Problem is it closed when Tomlin was still the coach and all the good coaches left.

I know he is UFA. was a tongue in cheek reference to dumfuq and alien.

Coach would get two first(s),................................... oh wait, wrong team......... I wonder if cleveland is looking our way...........

I don't see Bud or JuJu obtaining roster status. CAP room for a big FA signing and TJ WATT.

JuJu is getting to big for his britches as in not disciplined or doesn't see himself needing any. He was still saying he wants to be himself and continued his dancing (video ) and taunting through the media.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong as I'd like JuJu to be on the roster but I see to many thingsand him being odd man out.

Salute the nation

If Ruggs and Edwards develop into good players, JuJu would fit well. I still think he'd be the No. 1 option and that limits his upside. LV also may not have a long-term solution at QB.

I like JuJu, but he’s never been that good since AB left. I don’t think he’s ever going to be the prototype #1 that teams have to game plan for. Did you see the separation AB still was getting on some of his routes this year? It’s just a different level of twitch and speed. JuJu is a complementary guy, if we are being honest. Steelers can replace him by finding another WR talent.
