Juju leaves practice early with groin injury

James Washington will have to ball out. AB said he still expects JuJu to play. So we will wait and see what tomorrow brings. If he's downgraded to Doubtful tomorrow we will know.

Jedi mind tricks.

So you're saying there's a chance

JuJu Smith-Schuster questionable for Sunday's game, but Steelers teammates think he'll play

Ryan Switzer interrupted a reporter’s question. Before it could be asked how the Pittsburgh Steelers planned to replace leading receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, the team’s third-leading receiver worked to dismiss the idea they would have to.

“JuJu is going to play. JuJu’s gonna play,” Switzer said confidently about Sunday’s game at New Orleans. “I know JuJu. I know JuJu.”

A few minutes before Switzer spoke, the other half of the Steelers’ dynamic receiver duo expressed similar assuredness that Smith-Schuster would play in Sunday’s game despite a groin injury.

“I think he’ll be there for us,” Antonio Brown said.

Less than a half hour after that, yet another Steelers receiver refused to speculate about life without Smith-Schuster for the upcoming game against the team with the NFL’s best record.

“He’s a tough guy,” rookie James Washington said. “I don’t doubt that he (will) be there.”

Good to hear.

If there is any level of uncertainty to his health, I proceed like this. Ravens win he plays. Ravens lose he sits. You really aren't going to improve you seeding by winning out. Bottom line if you cant win at home the week after against the Bengals without a starting QB and almost no receivers I dont want to be in the playoffs anyhow.

Well you know, if coach cool shades and the gang had managed to WIN a couple of those games that just about EVERY OTHER team in the league would have, we wouldn't have to worry as much about these last two games, and JuJu could even rest up for the playoffs.

But it's a little late for that now....

Im hoping this is sarcasm. You only have to look at the chargers and chiefs to see how ridiculous it is

No need for new thread. Love this dude.

...where my bike. Lol

That made my night/Christmas, hell, everything. JuJu is a special human being in addition to being a special football player. I don't see how ANYONE from rival teams etc. could even not love this guy.

Chiefs lost to the Patriots, Rams, and Chargers by a combined seven points. Chargers lost to the Chiefs, Rams, and Broncos (one bad loss). Steelers losses include the Broncos, Raiders, and a tie to the Hue Jackson Browns. I don't think he was being sarcastic. Most NFL teams would win those games, especially against the Raiders and Hue Jackson Browns.

If we had a kicker, or if Conner holds onto the ball, we win both of those games, the Browns game easily. The decline of Boswell is the single biggest reason for nearly every loss this year.

If we run the ball 4 times behind a great offensive line and pro bowl fullback on 1st and 1 in Denver, we win that game. While Boswell’s decline is disappointing, the poor decision making bothers me more.

He's become one of my favorite Steelers in his short tenure. Just a solid happy go lucky human being. His on the field play reminds me of Hines Ward. The sky is the limit for that young man.

I haven't spent any $$$$MONEY$$$$. On NFL in a long long time. JuJu's Jersey has been calling me regularly and to the tune of getting it for Christmass as the ONLY present for myself. I love the kid and his energy. For those of you who Remeber I used my 3-Kitties as an anology of JuJU's energy and play. I too am glad he is a STEELERS player and represents very well.

Salute the nation

The degree of his play is directly related to the degree of outcome of tonight's game.

How do you know that RB doesn't fumble away another game? I wanted runs there, too, but all last year it was "this offense goes through Ben, let him run it and make the plays". 2nd year RB in his 1st year starting or HoF QB whose playmaking ability won the last game?

Its a 16 game season with a coaching staff that traditionally plays starters as much as humanly possible... its pretty much assured a few major injuries just from wear and tear... well past time to expand the rosters...

Dont most coaches play their starters most of the time?

12 more WRs have more snaps than juju, including two of the Rams receivers.
