Josh Gordon released (traded to pats)

Smoke 'em if ya got 'em.

I was going to be a professional foosball playah
then I got high

and I can't lie
I got high
I got high

I got high

Apparently he can actually be traded before his official release on Monday.

IF his release is due to drugs, the abrowns should have to forfeit their last game played if they used an illegal player

Cowboys will sign Gordon and Dez Bryant will sign with the Browns.

Just my guess

He'd be a upgrade over Justin Hunter atleast. Wonder if they'll take a straight trade for him

Why would any team want this character. He has had way to many chances when most have to pass a pee test to get a job , welcome to real word not the fantasy leagues.

Undoubtedly whoever he signs with, he would be gone in a flash

Gordon.

:hat:

Dude has a legit substance abuse problem. To tell you the truth, I'm surprised he's still in the league with all of his problems.

Too bad they didn't drop him a game earlier...

If it comes out he’s getting suspended again... the Browns should have to forfeit their tie.. illegal doping player

Seems he was late for a meeting

He was late today to the facility, source said. In addition, he was fine at Friday’s practice, then injured his hamstring. The question of how is part of the reason they released him. My understanding is it’s an overall trust issue for a player on thin ice.

After one more time having to lie for him this morning, the Browns finally had enough. Gordon formally will be released Monday and subject to waivers.

One of the single greatest wastes of talent ever. Dude could have been HOF caliber if his head had been screwed on right.

Sounds like he's back off the wagon. Once an addict, unfortunately, always an addict.

Dez will be signed on Monday.

Been through rehab 5 times? Is it cheech&chong's smoke em if you got em rehab center? Damn shame

I bet he lands with the Pats!

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns are "more likely to trade" Josh Gordon than release him.

The Browns plan to release Gordon Monday but have already had some calls from teams. Gordon's departure is trust-related after he re-injured his hamstring at a promotional shoot, but there's rumblings he was struggling with his sobriety. It's hard to see the Browns getting more than a conditional pick for Gordon with his off-field history.

Gordon is a vested veteran, so he won't be subject to waivers if he's cut.

The Cowboys, Patriots, Bengals, Seattle and Buffalo —who traded for Corey Coleman this preseason— are potential Gordon landing spots.

That's not what they're saying

Notes on Josh Gordon’s impeding departure from the #Browns: His release was not a result of a substance abuse violation or failing a test. He did injure his hamstring at a photo shoot.

I agree, he either lands with them or the Cowgirls.
