I really hope coach Lebeau mixes up things with Jones vs a solid LT that he overloads vs the RT, just get Worlids to come full speed off the edge and try to get low and Heyward @ Tuitt/Mclendon to shoot gaps.

http://instagram.com/p/wFtzlkJFq_/ This is just one of the many videos Deebo posted on Twitter via Instagram on MONDAY after a terrible loss. They really look like they are torn up about losing. And now James can't play on Sunday when we need him the most. Explains everything about this team in my honest opinion. This is a reflection of Mike Tomlin. I am not a Tomlin hater. But call it how it is. This team is care free and soft. Thats on him.

This team pisses me off, too, but let's keep a little perspective here. This is their job. If you have a bad day on the job on Friday, does that mean you will not laugh or joke around until you can redeem yourself on Monday?

Besides what do you expect them to be doing? Walking around depressed and yelling at everyone?

I'm curious if whitworth will be good to go for the bengals on sunday...if not, perhaps maybe they throw newhouse out there.

I'm excited to see Jarvis Jones back...I think it will take him a game or two to get his football legs under him but I was excited how he started the season. He was disruptive and was showing flashes. People need to realize this is our future and hes not going anywhere for at least couple seasons....we need him to be successful. Harrison and Worilds will be gone next year, that leaves Jarvis, Shazier, Timmons, and INSERT NAME HERE as our starting LB's. Why people are so down on this kid I will never understand.

I hope you are correct, although I am doubtful that he can begin to play where he was after the long layoff. Should he not I will attribute it to his still trying to regain strength he lost do to the inactivity and lack of practice. So far though he has not seemed like a great defender to me.

You don't know why people are down on him? First off he isn't a kid. He's turned 25 in Oct. He had spinal issues so bad that USC wouldn't even play him. He was so slow at his pro-day most teams dropped him out of their top players. Which is why he fell to the Steelers. He also has very few pass rushing moves outside of a bulrush and run around the corner. He struggles to hold the edge in the running game. I don't understand why you don't know why people are down on him.

The last "sack" he had he was thrown into the QB like a ragdoll so hard he hurt his hand while making contact. Guy is a slow, soft, dumb non factor.

My Jarvis jones highlight for this year was when the wr knocked him on his *** coming off the line. It takes a special linebacker for that to happen

Im sorry he was not disruptive. He did get two sacks but he was flat out owned for those couple of games. He's not a starting caliber linebacker in the nfl and this defense will go down when him and shazier get back. The defense started playing better when those guys went out

No Kiesel, no Harrison, The bungles get one of their best d linemen against the run back, and they have a secondary populated by former first round picks, does not seem like the arrow is pointing up for us.

That last sack, he beat his man with his punch (which fractured his wrist) and got to the QB. He wasn't thrown like a rag doll. Was it a little lucky that he was able to hit the ball with his helmet as he was falling? Sure, but it's not like the LT picked him up and threw him at the QB like so many of you are trying to say. He set the LT up on the outside, gave him a punch and went inside. The LT then grabbed Jones around the neck causing him to fall awkwardly.

Nothing like the facts...

Jones will get better with playing Time. How much better has yet to be seen. That LT grabed his head, where the head goes, the body follows. He was NOT tossed like a rag doll.

Salute the nation

A second player hit him as well and knocked him into the QB. The comment at the end by Collinsworth "The ball just came out nobody hit it." Did not look like a good play, but also was not a bad one either. Still not sold on Jarvis but hope he works out, would love for him to be better than I think he is.

It was a good play in that he collapsed the pocket, but he knocked the ball loose in a very inadvertent manner.

Wrist injury will hurt his bull rush and any moves he was developing as they all require strength which the wrist injury kills. Lower strength and lack of practice/conditioning will equate to a rough spot for Jarvis. If he can hold his own this game I give him a B, if any impact an A...more likely he will see spot duty working his way back in and we will see way too much of Moats

Maybe JJ will have the game of his life. We certainly need it from him. Like Ike, he will need a game of two to get his timing back. If they can't contain Bernard and Green, its going to be a long game.

This defense could have 5 starters who have not played 2 full years. You expect the steel curtain?

He did nothing in that pass rush but get tossed to the ground by one of the worst tackles in the league but then his apologists have over a year of bad tape on the bum and this is their highlight, sad.

what's sad is that you have such hatred for the pick, that even when he does have a good play, you excuse it as something it's not. I did not want any part of Jones on draft day. I was highly disappointed in his rookie year. But I'm also not going to make **** up just because I wasn't a fan of the pick. He beat that tackle, simple as that.
