There is more than you think... The Pats are a known spiteful group... they also had a bye locked up and could win this week and still get the top overall seed. They don't rest players when they clinch... It sure did feel like a hoodie FU for the allegations after the first game

As bad as our defense is, if our offense is on a roll I think we can out score anyone. Although the Pats have owned us I would not be surprised if the Pats took a calculated gamble on the coin toss. If they win they can get home field, and if they lose it could keep the steelers out of the playoffs. Either way the JETS wanted / needed the game more. It would definitely not surprise me if the Pats lost on purpose. We were one of the hottest teams in the league going into the Ravens game.

Here's why I think the Pats did indeed throw away that game. By the time they got to ot...they showed the Steelers/Ravens score.........then he wins the toss but opts to kick? When you have Tom Brady? Really?

My only question is, who's game ended first? Did the get into overtime AFTER the Steelers had already lost? or before?

Because if the Steelers were looking like they might win the game or were in a position to win the game, it's in the cheaters best interest to keep it "interesting" as the saying goes. Essentially, aside from the injuries, which are a great risk, admittedly, they had nothing to lose.

Again, I'm not saying conspiracy, I'm saying coaching. While the Steelers defense is about the most schizophrenic thing the NFL has seen in years excepting perhaps the Colts defense back when Peyton actually won the darn thing, the offense is admittedly a great threat to any team in the playoffs. It's ultimately in EVERY teams best interest to put a wild dog down before it can bite you. And the Steelers are a very wild and unpredictable dog.

My cousin's husband is die-hard P*ts fan. He was at the game - but before I continue - he's as objective and reasonable as a normal football fan.

He told me that "once the Steelers score flashed on the big screens---in his opinion, the P*ts game plan changed. In short, like Wig, he thinks Bellicheat threw the game.

Don't know the circumstances surrounding that time. Could have been a motive for it or perhaps the D was on fire that day? Did they not lose that one also? Makes it even more suspect if that's the case.

This time it was a bit on the suspicious side at the very least and made no sense otherwise.

Sorry but that's wrong as well. They had nothing locked up except making the playoffs. Even today they could be the 3rd seed and have to play in the wildcard if they lose to Miami and the bungles and Broncos win. There is no reason for them to lose that game. Especially when you consider the prize is not playing a team they destroy every time they play and probably having to play a team they struggle with in their own division. It makes no sense and I've seen no rational argument to the contrary.

Fitz, Powell, and Ivory didn't practice yesterday... Fitz's injury isn't suppose to be severe but both RBs are really banged up.

Bills might have too many injuries to pull this win off though...

I'm conflicted on this. It's not conspiracy, it's coaching.

One one hand, I think it's completely against the cheaters nature to allow themselves to lose - ever. On the other hand, look at the AFC playoff field. The Steelers are the only team that poses a significant threat in terms of a decent offense. If the coach doesn't **** things up, the team can be dangerous. On the other hand, the Steelers are obviously just as likely to goat **** the football.

It's entirely possible that Hoodie knows that in this AFC playoff field he knows that the 2nd seed is completely good enough for homefield throughout as it's unlikely that the #1 seed can even beat a team coming to visit. Honestly. I wouldn't even have to mark that up to conspiracy, that's just killing a potential threat before they become one. Yes, the Steelers defense is God-Awful. But that's largely because they're coached by some guys who utterly refuse to play aggressive defense and challenge QBs. For all his talk about not living in his fears, Butler et al **** in their pants alot. At least that's my take on what happens with those soft zones and 2 deep coverages. How you let a guy who's played for a team for 2 ******* weeks surgically slice you apart is completely beyond me. This isn't about an evolving NFL. This is about fear. Let the ****** go deep on you once or twice, but you hit him 10 times while he's trying to do it.
