easily his best game. Wide open a few times. and he certainly fights after the catch! Not going to make us forget about Heath anytime soon, but I think he stepped up huge yesterday!

James is becoming a player.

He's becoming a trustable chain mover, I really like how he has worked and grown since draft day

James has come a long way, you can tell he's playing with much more confidence. The similarity with Heath is the strong frame and workman-like attitude. No nonsense, no frills, just gets the job done. Glad we got this kid when we did. Had enough time to learn under Heath and is becoming a nice all-around player (don't forget the huge block on AB's sideline TD last week).

So long Ladarius Green, his concussions have put him in La La Land..............Damaged goods.
Our medical staff cost us big time.

Give him another year or two to put more muscle on that frame. I think he is going to be Heath 2.0

Now we can stop worrying about Green, who has 18 catches all season. It would be great if he could play, but all the posts like it was some major loss were baffling to me. The kid played a great game and will only get better.

He can't stay on the field though. He may have more measurable, but unfortunately his career has been more time on the shelf than playing.

He isn't Jimmy Graham (with Saints) or Gronk. But maybe a poor man's Eifert. I could really live with that.

I just don't understand why it has to be Green vs James..we could use both. 2TE sets with them both helps the running game and the pass game. There is should be no one vs the other posts

But there are. You don't make the rules.

We compare them because we see a draft pick vs. a high dollar free agent.

We see a guy who cant get on the field because he's the real life version of this guy:

One reminds us of heath and he's from Penn State where a lot of us are from.

The other cost us 5 million dollars and was supposed to be ready by camp.

It's what people do.

Absolutely. And anyone here should want Green to come back this week. I just don't think he will. And I guess people are saying Jesse is a pretty good consolation prize.

See LG's Contract: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/pittsburgh-steelers/ladarius-green-9926/ (Note the Dead Cap numbers)
It is difficult to determine and questions arise if LG's intent is to return this season and subsequently ... ever! Headaches in context of post concussion issues are subjective.

Until proven otherwise, Ladarius's signing was a costly mistake! :confused1:

you cant say that. They need the benefit of the doubt. Green has 18 beautiful catches this year!!

He's easily just as good as Jesse James. He's just not playing in those other games that James is playing in.

James performance last night was reminiscent of Miller's playoff game against the Colts

Green is a lot faster than James. Athletic wise, I'd say even. James likes to try to jump over guys

There just isn't any point talking about it.

Green just doesn't exist in the football world right now. We may as well be talking about whether or not Wig is a better option. Cause I have about as much of a chance of seeing the field as LG does. And I'm about as likely to walk straight after taking a shot from a safety over the middle.
