Jesse James “glad to get away” from Steelers drama

Oh brother. This guy went to Pedo State right after the whole incident and while they were on probation. But he's glad to get away. The national media making such a huge deal out of this as if no team had ever traded away an asshat player before. Give me a break.
 
If you actually read what he says, I cant find anything wrong in what he said

i don't agree with this at all.

some teams have awesome talent in a single player and have a hard time keeping them in line. and they get traded or released. We just so happened to have 2 on the same roster.

there has been "why would they let xxxx player go" over several teams the past few years.
 
LOL Is it just me or do the Tomlin apologists sound a lot like the Kordell apologists?
 
I like Jesse. I wish him the best. He will never be an explosive play-maker, but he came in a did his job with no drama.
 
Well... Kordell actually managed to WIN a playoff game or two. ;-)

I always thought James was just a reliable, solid guy. You knew he wasn't going to be a game changer, but he was always steady. I can take that in a T.E. We loved Heath but it isn't like he was a pass-catching machine either. He certainly COULD catch, but I can only remember a handful of games where he actually went out and put on a show. (The opening play of the Colts playoff game was a true thing of beauty though and he had a GREAT game that day.)

As for what he said... He's dead on the money. The Steelers HAVE become the Kardashians. I'm sure there's crap that was going on in that locker room and during the meetings that we don't even know about. He hinted at that when he said AB HAD to go. There was probably so much crap going on behind the scenes and we may never know the extent of if.

As much as the trade sucked. Getting rid of that douche-bag may be the best thing in the world for the team at the end of the day.

So Tomlin having 2 sets of rules, one for the rest of the team, and AB didn't have anything to do with it?
 
Jesse hit it out f the park to bad Rooney doesn't hear very well. Tomlin had Jesse in his dog house since the first training camp. His words about up to last game ring loud and clear, sounds like Tomlin once more is the reason

If you think that there are not different set of rules for elite players on EVERY team in the NFL, I have some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you. There will always be different rules for your truly elite players than what may exist for your third string OT or practice squad player. People will always be treated different based on value, seniority, trust...etc. in pretty much any industry.

Funny, you posted that, I was just listening to Dawson with Stan on the SNR radio yesterday, he pretty much said that exact same thing about Cowher when asked to compare Noll and Cowher.

He said Cowher seemed to know how to handle the players, when they need a spit bath or a pat on the ***. He said he'd run conditioning drills with them, jump in on drills. I do remember him getting bloody nose once in one of the drills.

maybe he sucks at playing football, but he's pretty awesome about telling the truth when it comes to the disarray of the Steelers' locker room, that much is obvious.
