I wish Hargrave would've taken 99, an all 90#'d line would've been sick, but I see he wanted the flip or mirror of 97, still good #'s for these guys.

Surely some will switch up jerseys as the roster gets pared down. Hargrave may have his choice of #99, if he's so inclined, as Caushaud Lyons may not make the cut.

I presume Feeney will keep his #41 college number. Kinda strange to see OLB's with 40's numbers, ie Dupree with #48.

For some reason I like the fact Tree Shade McCullers grabbed #93. The #62 he wore last year seems more like an OL number.

True, that 62 was weird. I also want to point out as I did elsewhere, I think Dustin Vaughan is a training camp sleeper.

Colbert mentioned him on ESPN, that he was a rostered 3rd QB in the league with the Cowboys. So they may be looking at him as a bit more than simply having another warm body in camp.

Good call. I think he can easily be in the competition with Jones and Gradkowski, liked the few tape I could find on him.
 
Man I can't wait to see Hargrave come into his own. I think he's the best pick of this draft and a future star

Love that number for him and really hope he shows out so the Steelers can't help but see his talent as WR as well as a returner.

Does anyone remember Ward putting tape and his name on his helmet at training camp? I use to get a real kick out of that. Almost like Jack Lambert standing on the table during rookie introductions.

Hargrave has an offensive tackle number. Definitely needs 99. I also don't like linebackers in the 40s. Always associate those numbers with guys on the chopping block.

I wouldn't say it's an OT number, as Joe Greene wore 75, so 70s work for DLinemen. I can't think of anyone that has made the number 79 memorable, so perhaps Hargrave can create a legacy with that number on his own and years from now when we see 79 we can remember "man Hargrave was awesome, 79 was a monster". He can make 79 his own.
