Give Brady and Belicheat two weeks and they'd beat any team from any era.

Big whoop. Any team of today, from good to mediocre to bad could beat any team from any era.
This years Steeler team would beat any team from any era.

Mean Joe Greene was the largest player on the Steelers roster at 285 pounds. That 70's Steeler team would get pushed around with ease by these physical freaks playing today.

Gee, could Belichek beat the 1930 Packers???
Tough call.

did they say what era of rules they would be following and if pre-headset era would they still want to play???

Rules of the 70s era football would decimate boy wonder with in three plays.

Not with the rules from bygone eras. Joe Green, Lambert, Blount would eat them alive.

I guess he forgot about that little loss to the Eagles about a year ago.

Rules of that era.

I'm sorry Brady could not play in the 70's or 80's when QBs were allowed to be hit, and wrs were allowed to be touched

When did Goodell get hired in comparison to the cheats first SB victory ? Trying to remember off the top of my head..

2006 for Goodell just checked. One sec..Ahh 2002 when it kick started.. cheats run. So in the beginning of his career he had to minimize the effect of the cheating to save face.

Man you have to wonder with any other commissioner what the outcome would have been.

There had to be extensive filming and organizing of film / synchronizing / etc. to have just destroyed those tapes with out showing the evidence. The "rog" made that decision or was responsible for that decision and the rest is history. Somewhere the "rog" has been taking care of kr*ft ever since. It is no coincidence that the favoritism coincides directly with the "rog"'s presents.

Oh and slash,............ Banned for life would have been the outcome.

not a chance they beat any of the 4 SB teams of 70's would love to see them try to block mean joe or throw at Mel.

I would say that about other combinations as well. And they wouldn't beat them 10 out of 10 times.

Not with Ernie Adams, the refs and the nfl coming after them. But, in a "regular" game, yes.

I don't know if Ernie Adams' influence on the Pats' organization and winning ways has been talked about enough. Apparently the guy is the real Rain Man and was so sharp even in grade school that he was asked to coach as an 8th grade student. The guy just doesn't have an official title and keeps such a low profile that there's really nothing you can learn about him other than noticing that team's ability to sniff out an opposing team's gameplan and plays they're going to call is like no one has ever seen before in the sport.

Except the 2000s Giants and the '17 Eagles. What a stupid thing to say when they've lost this game three times in their own era. Brady facing defenses under old rules? He'd be crippled or retired after 3 years.
