Javon Hargrave is a Star in the Making

Pre-season don't mean ****. Lets see it in the regular season and lets see it over 16 games. No rookie walls. Then we can call him a star in the making
 
He looks like a HOFer to me. :)
 
It's a lack of busts in the first two rounds and a surprise gem in the later rounds that separate teams. Hoping he is a gem.
 
I have a good feeling about him, I think this small school product sticks.
 
And he doesn't have to be Aarons Donald. I'd he can hang with Tuitt and Heyward what would that do for third down defense?

He ate NO's centers lunch. So far so good. I can't wait to see he does when it counts
 
Screw this whole we need OLBs to get sacks*. He, Tuit, and Cam are the new sack machine.



*OLBs getting sacks would still be nice.
 
I think Javon Hargrave will prove to be a good NFL player. He's he's very good, we might as well consider a full-time switch to the 4-3. Timmons won't be here next year, at least for his current cap number and the Steelers declined to give Jarvis Jones an option for year five.

with Vince Williams locked as the buck LB it is probable that the team sticks with the 3-4, but we do need another OLB and I don't mind a hybrid DE/OLB kind of player (a la Suggs)

The game has changed to sub packages, so to an extent, a base defense means less than it used to.

However, I do believe it's much easier to transition from a 4-3 to nickel or dime, simply because you already have the 4th DL player out there.
