What an end to such a prolific NFL career for former Steelers linebacker, James Harrison. From being cut multiple times to begin his career, to becoming an NFL Defensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl Champion, Harrison announced this week that he is finally hanging up his cleats for good. I've missed way too […]

James Harrison just spread his butt cheeks for TB

On nfl live just slobbered his knob

I rooted for you to break Gildon's sack record. Now I wish you hadn't.

Thank you for all the contributions over the years (especially that INT / TD in SB43), but you **** on Steeler Nation when you went to the *'s. Time will soften that though.

Pouncey was right.

Deewho?

James is the last true pass rusher we've had for a decade.

Cut all the fat overpaid slobs on the DL and maybe we will have enough money to buy a FA OLB.that doesn't have skinny legs.

Pouncey. Dude took 4 or 5 years to make it through an entire season. Ya HE'S important.

I burned his jersey the day he signed with the Pats. But with time all is forgiven. just not enough time has passed yet.

I didn't see in that article where he said "no hard feelings", but I don't understand why he would have hard feelings. He's the guy who left and went to our most hated rival during a playoff run. Does he think there people are worried about his hard feelings?

you're a jersey-burner, huh? what are you, 14?

Him having no "hard feelings" was to assure SN that he didn't get an erection because he was gonna get to play for the Pats...it was strictly business.

BOTTOM line is if he was good enough he would have played. The coaching staff showed they were aware of our "play off" run as to the personael that got on the field. SORRY James got left in the wash of roster moves. NOT sorry Watt proved starter worthy. Things played out as they did and YES some could have been more professional ect.ect.. AS for Jame's carrier, it would be hard to match or find a more true STEELERS player while he was here. The GUY bleed Black and Gold for quite some time. He made many a great game changing plays and still alonf with one of the GREATEST plays ever in the history of the SB, remained humble. Buisness is Buisness but there is some emotional involved. DO I DISLIKE the fact he left the way he did, HELL YEA and I dislike it even more who he went to play for.

With all this said, TIME will soften the abrasion and I do hope he makes it into the HOF one day. Oh and by the way, WHO gives a **** if he retirees a STEELERS or NOT???? The HOF doeswn't achknowledge who they retired fort what team. EVERYONE who knows JACK **** about football will know who James made his reputation with.

Salute the nation

Of course there's no hard feelings now. His career is over and he wants to try and repair his legacy. What else is he going to say? Color me uninterested.

I'll miss the guy, and I'm still not convinced of Tomlin's not using him at all.
