I'm wearing my white Harrison SB XLIII jersey. I packed my bag on Wed when I left for our anniversary vacation. That's how sure I was for him to be playing this week.

He is a force of nature. Love watching him enforce his will and you could almost see Smith cringe before the snap at the end of the game

I know many still don't think he is a HOFer. But, I have heard many say that one key measure for a HOFer is if they changed the way the game was played.
Well, how can anyone say Deebo didn't change the game was played. In his prime, they had no idea what to do with him. He was being held on every play coming around the corner. Even then, officials didn't call holding on every play even though that was the rule at the time. The officials, then, changed the holding rule on those types of plays so the o-linemen didn't get called for holding on every play. Deebo changed the rules of the game. So, I guess you could say he changed the way the game was played.
I still don't see why they changed that rule. If you wrap your arm around a guy (even if he's going around the corner) and practically drag him to the ground (and sometimes do), that is still textbook holding in any other situation.
Deebo should be a HOFer, the way I see it. It may take a few years but he definitely SHOULD get in.

Love Harrison. One of the best Steelers all time. He's right up with all of the great Steeler linebackers.A man that personifies what Steeler football is. A HOF player absolutely. The most improbable path to it as well.
Clearly Harrison can still be productive, if even for a series here and there. Question is: Why hasn't he had more playing time so far this season?
Bill Walsh is basically the first NFL coach to recognize that he needed a pass rusher for the 4th quarter, when his team had forged a lead. He obtained a smallish, semi-productive DE from the Chargers named Fred Dean specifically for that purpose. Dean basically did not play the first 3 quarters, but Walsh unleashed him in the 4th ...
And Dean posted 17.5 sacks in the 1983 season, and 9.5 sacks in 12 playoff games.
That should be Harrison's role. Bench and building anger in the 1st quarter, and 2nd, and 3rd, and then ... let him go kill a QB. I fully endorse that approach.
