1st pass as a pro in a regular season game .... pick 6!!! Looked down the receiver the whole way and then threw a duck. I hope this shi- - happens to him all day.

Kids a scumbag wish he the worst

I didn't like Winston coming out. He won't be able to run around like college and his feet are terrible for a QB. He was also suppose to be some brilliant football mind but I've never seen it. He stares down his primary WR a lot.

I know it's his first game. But that was my analysis when he went into the draft. For the record I didn't care for Mariotta either. He seems to be doing ok.

Nariotta is extremely accurate and smart, Winston is dumb as a brick and can't read a defense. Jaworski reviewed every pass of his from last year and said there were 13 more passes that should have been intercepted in addition to the 18 he did throw.

I watched a lot of Winston in college. He was just bigger, stronger and had a ton more talent around him than other teams. I never thought "Franchise QB" when I saw him. I saw a guy that reminded me of Jamarcus Russell. Big guy with a 2 cent head.

Mariota just threw his 4th TD pass of the half, oh to be coached by Whisenhut.

I don't like QBs that come from gimmick systems. Mariotta may turn out to be a good QB but when you put those guys under center in the weather they can have issues. I like the guy and hope he does well. He's having a great game today.

I can't stand Jameis. I hope he sputters out and goes away quickly.

I thought the kid looked good in preseason. Well I guess it was just because it was preseason.

I stopped watching the game. It was mas horrible,

Unless jamis matures up a lot in the next few weeks, he is toast. He is finding out his low intellegence approach won't work. No one will coddle him as has been his whole football carreer. NO crab legs for him..........

It comes from his incredibly bad decision making, poor throw after poor throw and today was huge evidence of it. He always locks onto his receiver and throws regardless of coverage including getting a screen pass intercepted today when he stared down the defender and threw it right to him. He is dumb as a brick on and off the field.

Man, did Jameis **** your sister or something? Its one game, he's a rookie on a ****** team. Lighten up, Francis

It is his college career where he was awful with interceptions and poor throws.. My sister wouldn't **** an ugly piece of **** like Winston, your mother on the other hand would **** him for a pound of crab legs.

Anddddd it begins. How've you been, Franco?

He has about 10 more user names already locked and loaded. Lol

I'm glad none of these fans had to sit through Bradshaw's rookie year. 6 td's, with 24 picks.

Not saying he is Mannjng or Luck. But both threw 20 something interceptions as rookies. Can the kid play a little bit before y'all cast him to the side. Scouts and coaches have raved about his football smarts so I don't know where the kid is stupid stuff is coming from.

Coaches rave all the time about players and many times it isn't true. This one game doesn't prove anything. But neither does what a bunch of coaches, who all think they can make anybody a good QB, say about him. I've seen coaches draft bad QB after bad QB all the time saying how smart, mature, and can't miss they are... until they miss. What great QB has Licht ever drafted or coached up? What about Smith? How many great QBs has he churned out? What about TB in general? Anybody trust them to draft and develop a QB?

I get that it is their profession and I'm sure they are very good at it. But the idea that just because they say a QB is brilliant or "smart" doesn't make me accept it when I see something totally different on the field and when others like Jaws break down his film and say he threw a **** ton of picks that were just dropped.

who didn't? watched and cheered...when we got weapons it was on!

Exactly! I'm neither ready to condemn, or anoint a guy after one year. Many stars have struggled early. Conversely, RG3 looked like a stud during his rookie year. Not so much lately.

I didn't say he was going to be good I said apparently his Football mind is considered top notch..whether or not he can translate it to the field is another thing. There have been numerous stories of him being able to recall complicated plays from memory. Maybe he can't play but that doesn't make him stupid. Maybe he needs to coach who knows.

Mariota is extremely bright, accurate and has the best QB coach in the NFL in Whiz to coach him up. He will design safe, low risk plays to shield Mariota as he did with Ben his first few years by rolling him out and having him only have to read half the field, maximum protection plays with only a couple of receivers out on patterns, etc.

Lol, damn man swallow and breathe already. It's one game.

Manning and luck threw Interceptions in bunches their rookie years but I never heard anyone refer to them as stupid and couldn't read a defense.
