Jags win 30-9, not as bad as score looked.

I think they came into the Burgh...punched the bully in the mouth, and bloodied our lip..

30-9 is 30-9 men...not matter how you try to spin it.

Exactly - they showed up and smashed the Steelers right in the mouth and never stopped

all this piss ant rah rah cheerleader crap doesn't mean **** when a team can come in and physically dominate you

Our O line got punked, they were all over Ben, he never had time to pass and their secondary is for real - turnovers can easily decide this game too

he said the jaguars were wearing lingerie and stilettos.....not my fault you like men in heels
I know what he said, like I said when I hear making it rain and lingerie, I think strippers are on the field for the Jags, while you obviously picture actual Jags players in lingerie, and that's ok, don't you have some coal to crack?

all done with my coal cracking and bog jumping for the day

Forget the earlier loss, go back and re watch the 2007 wild card loss. Special Teams and Turnovers were big impacts on that game. I see the Jags D matching up very well verse the Steelers offensive strengths. When you can play 8 in the box and have quality defenders at DB very rarely will there be an an advantage. I think this will be more of a chess match. Steelers need the defense to make splash plays. When was their last defensive TD?

and each year with that tweaking they inched a step closer.

Decent amount of things could be tweaked.

Mitchell isn't the answer at FS, he is a liability just as much as he is a help. Martavis hasn't regained that burst, at WR you could still use a better red zone option.

Haden isn't young, so some depth could be had to kick some of that substandard depth to the curb.

TE could use a playmaker who can stay healthy on the field.

ILBer is missing Shazier and probably for good. (prayers are still with him)

So a upgrade is needed for Spence who is a stopgap at best.

There is enough to tweak if you focus in.....

I guess your definition of tweaking and mine are drastically different. Every position you mentioned were starters. I do agree we are further along than we were 2-3 years ago on defense. All I’m saying is if this team can’t beat the Jaguars and not taking anything away from them then it doesn’t leave we with much confidence we the group of guys in that locker room outside of the obvious names. Then if the players are not the issue then the coaching staff has to be the problem.

Look at the how the team played that loss versus the Jags versus the *'s. You think that is each player playing the same? The team played well enough to be the cheating ******* *'s without Brown for most of the game. Brown is back, Juju is better now than he was when we played Jax, Martivus has been in a better groove, Bell has been in a better groove.

Without Shazier, our D has taken a step back. They've allowed yards, sure. They've even given up points to ****** teams. The Jax game, the team gave up 30 points, but 14 of that was pick 6's, so the D only allowed 16. 7 of that was on a huge run when the game was, pretty much over.

Against the other teams in the playoffs, we gave up an average of 16.5 points per game. I doubt we can keep it that low without Shazier, though. I'd expect Jax to be able to put up 20-21 points if our offense doesn't spot them 14, again. If our Offense can't score more than 21, we deserve to lose. Our O only scored less than 20, 3x during the season. One of those with the aforementioned 5 int game.

Of the playoff teams, only the cheaters got more than 20. Look through the *'s threads prior to the game. I showed that the cheaters score 24 points or more in something like 65% of their games. They scored 27 and 30 in two of their losses. it was in 11 of 16 games for the 2017 season. Keeping them at 27, wasn't a ****** performance by the D, it was what you should expect. you are fooling yourself if you think any team will, regularly keep the *'s under the 24-27 points mark.

The D did not lose the game against the jags. The two pick 6's and the other 3 ints lost the game. The D did not lose the game versus the *'s.

I can't understand why you wouldn't be confident of a win vs. the Jags. A win versus a cheating sack of **** team in their own stadium is a more difficult proposition.

Go back and read my original comment on the thread. I EXPECT to beat them! No way do we lose against the Jags and if we did we have some serious issues and more than a tweak here and there. Not taking anything away from the Jags and the season they have had. One of the top defenses this year and really not that close.
