Jacksonville game time flexed

People complain about Collinsworth. I actually don’t mind him. My wife (who doesn’t know anything about the game) likes the way he explains things. I feel he commentates teams fairly and respectfully...even the ******* bound teams..

Fouts reminds me more and more of Paul Macguire. The Steeler hating douche.

Collinsworth is pretty good. The whole point of a color commentator is to teach you something about the game you're watching. I get that from Collinsworth. Fouts detracts from the game.

There's so many talented writers and commentators out there who studied broadcasting and spend countless hours each week watching film and they don't have an opportunity because they aren't former NFL players.

True story; my wife works at Florida Hospital and gets a discount on all Florida NFL game tix...except for Steeler games...can't make this **** up.

My buddy got me nose bleeds this morning from the Navy exchange. $20 ea. All the best Jag games sell out but they block seats for military. Great deal. This flex suck tho because 80 degrees at game time means you're crisp like bacon by halftime. Ah maybe we'll get a cool front.

That's what Howard Cosell called the Jock-ocracy. He hated the fact that he had to have athletes in the booth who might know the game but were amateurs in broadcasting.

As long as it's not a Patriots game, he's not bad

Collinsworth used to be awful, then to his credit, he got better. Than we got stuck with the WORST Steeler hating jackass of all time, Phil Simms EVERY FREAKING GAME. Now we have Fouts every game. He's almost as bad with his stupidity and Steeler hating. He's so stupid, he called Joe Flacco "Ben Roethlisberger" TWICE in the last game.

Living out here I don't like 1pm games at all.
God gets mad at me. :)

Did Fouts also do the Cleveland game after the bye? I was mad because he screamed about how that should have been an interception the other way instead of talking about the great play Ben and Bell made for the TD. He repeated it 3 ******* times and never once gave Ben credit for threading the needle, as would happen if Brady or Rogers made the exact same throw.

Sounded like he had money on Cleveland...

Heard the Steeler/Charger game might be flexed to Sunday night Instead if the great Seahawk/Niner game

Steelers-Jaguars kickoff time changed
Teresa Varley
STEELERS.COM

Kickoff for the Steelers Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 18 has been flexed by the NFL.

The game, originally scheduled to start at 8:20 p.m., will now be a 1 p.m. kickoff at TIAA Bank Field and broadcast on CBS, locally on KDKA-TV.

CBS has also protected the Steelers-Broncos game on Sunday, Nov. 25 (Week 12), the Steelers-Los Angeles Chargers game on Sunday, Dec. 2 (Week 13), the Steelers-Patriots game on Dec. 16 (Week 15), and the Steelers-Saints game on Sunday, Dec. 23 (Week 16). These games will not be flexed and the kickoff times will not change.

The Steelers still have two primetime games remaining including this Thursday, Nov. 8 against the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field at 8:20 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 9 against the Oakland Raiders at Oakland Coliseum at 8:20 p.m.

NFL flexible scheduling runs from Weeks 5-17. The NFL implemented flexible scheduling in 2006 for Weeks 10-15 and expanded it in 2014 to include Weeks 5-17.

Now what?

That's really shittty to the fans. That's a douche move.

There are protocols in place as to when games can be flexed, both in terms of weeks, and how far in advance.

Fans planning to travel to road games after week 9 (or whenever that starts) need to consider that when figuring travel.

The people it really hurts are those who get flexed INTO a night game. Where travel options post gMe are limited.

It is what's best for tv, and therefore the league. After all 99% of people get their football from a screen, not a seat.

Jacksonville is probably going to beat us because
A. We are going to be overconfident
B. Its on the road there
C. They aren’t a good team
D. Its not prime time

Like all three of tge crappy teams we play scare the piss out of me because of our track record

Different OC now, we'll see.

When your red zone trend is different, perhaps it will be a different outcome now..................

Jacksonville always beats us.

Always? Not 100% accurate.

Pittsburgh Steelers 23 games played, 12-11 0.522

That might not include playoffs, but point is, it is more 50-50 than us "never" winning.

And now you chose to cite and understand facts...

SMFH...
