He had a chance at a big play, and couldn't hold on. He's underperforming, and not getting open on his breaks. Had 2 more tosses toward him batted down by defenders. His standard is not the standard...

If he performs the basic principle of carrying the ball in the outside hand, he scores easily. Instead he kept the ball on the same side as the defender and it cost him. Hopefully his last year on the team.

JW is so use to high-pointing 50/50 jump balls from college he does it now even when uncovered. It's all he knows.

As a receiver, I understand why Washington left his feet. But he got both hands on the ball, so it needs to be caught.

I think he usually has good hands, not sure what is going on with him. The move to get wide open was attractive. But yeah you have to catch that.

Thank god we don't make decisions for this team. Washington has 8 catches for the season. I believe that is more than Brown or ward had their rookie seasons at this point. Brown ended with 16 catches his rookie year and ward had 15.
When the only thing that you can remember are his bad plays, it means his other 8 were probably nothing to write home about. Secondly, Neither Brown nor Ward were picked in the second round and expected to be impact players their rookie seasons.

There's always a random scapegoat around here who isn't really a top contributor. He seems to be becoming that guy for whatever reason. I'm more worried about our starting RB having the yips holding onto the ball. I'm worried about our franchise QB making bone head decisions at the end of the game. I'm worried about our coaches not giving Conner one carry inside the 3? That kid is so far down the list of what our issues are I find it laughable that anyone even mentions him. Give me a break already. Our 4th receiving option at best on this roster? It's one loss because of turnovers. Pump the brakes people, and step away from the ledge.
It's not about who to blame, or anyone blaming him for the loss, it's about what we need to make a deep run this year, and a dependable#3 WR is one of those.
Switzer is not a legit #3 WR. AB is doubled alot, get a #3 wr that actually does something and it gets harder to double AB as much.
