No way, don't trust Tomlin or Colbert to actually identify an elite top 10 player. The last time they did so was with Jarvis Jones who they said was a special player but whose tape and workout numbers showed a poor athlete and a guy who couldn't even beat college tackles for his sacks. I would prefer trading back and loading up on picks which we could use to double dip on CBs as the record of these two on drafting CBs is poor at best. Better to take more and hope one works out than picking one and hoping he works out, law of averages to overcome their shared stupidity.

Perhaps I should rephrase the question. A team in the top 10(doesn't matter who, you choose) is willing to trade with you, do you pull the trigger? And who is worth it to you to make such trade?

I think this draft is relatively week in the top end; the top 10 or 15 don't knock my socks off. However, the 2nd and 3rd rounds seems extra stocked with talent.

Tunsil seems like a very solid OT. OK, but be the 2nd pick, I am not crazy about how much a sure thing Wentz is at QB, and if he goes to Cleve, it probably means his career will be bust city.

Ramsey is the real deal at 3; I expect him to excel and be a blue chip prospect, but by 4, Joey Bosa, I am already not totally sold on him as a sure fire top 5 pick. He is NOT the next JJ Watts. He will be solid, but NOT a man amongst boys, as Watt often seemed to be.

The drafts best bacl, Elliott, is a big, strong fast back with hands, but will he really be that much better than the other top 5 backs?

The 2nd round is loaded with good DTs, Ss, CBs, which we need. I'd prefer to drop back and grab an additional 2nd rounder.

It's a need pick at that point IMO, not value. Billings or trade down for me...

I think Vernon Butler might be a option for them in 1 before a trade down...

The only player who I think it would be worth for the Steelers to trade up for is Hargreaves. This is a deep class, but very weak at the top. There's a lot of good players that will be taken throughout the rounds, but I don't see a lot of players with "Star" written on them.

I think Jalen Ramsey should be in that boat with Hargreaves. But, as many have said earlier, we just don't have enough ammunition to do a deal like that without completely hamstringing the rest of this and future drafts.

With a players like Cravens you could when we go go 4-3 or 4-2-5 have Cravens at LB and possibly have as Timmons replacement, and with a year in the weight room both LD Walton and Chickello could come in asa DE's with this is a example formation
